Why are the tractors maroon? Why do they appear to be a higher model than our other new Freightliners with more accessories?

I'm going to guess an orange tractor would look quite ridiculous pulling a maroon trailer

They are brown, just the way the light hits them. I guess the customer wanted them to look like their own. Most people driving down the road would not notice a different name on the door since the colors all the same. There are 2 companies that paint their tractors the same colors as the Company owned tractors for Shoprite in NJ , if you don't look you think it's their trucks.

Is Wegman's a high end grocery chain? I pick up alot of freight for them out of Norfolk,Va going upstate NY. How far south do they cut off at? Reason being I was wondering would they be running down here in the future.

I'd guess you could say that Wegman's is high end but then they're medium middle too. They carry an unbelievable amount of stuff. They have oyster week (or month) when you can go get oysters from all over the world. They have something comparable to Kobe beef that's like $50.00/lb. But then they also carry all of your everyday stuff too. Like you can get chicken, regular beef and everything else you could think of for reasonable prices. Parking there is like parking at your local shopping mall at Christmas time, not quite as bad as Black Friday. They sell beer and wine in PA, unheard of at a grocery store here. They also have their own bar/restaurant where you can go hang while the boss goes grocery shopping. They also have a big section of the up and coming organic/natural/whole foods too. It's like a whole shopping mall for food and it's easy to get disoriented in there.

And they are very good to their workers......All the school kids who work there get help with college, donations to all the local charities and schools...
Always listed as the best super market in the USA..To shop at and to work for.....Very clean, the best foods and friendly staff.....

Wegmans does have a store in Chesapeake va.
I think you are talking about Charlottesville, VA not Chesapeake. If they did open one in this area, it would be Virginia Beach first. I grew up in NYC and never saw them, but heard good things about them. The last grocery chain from up north that had stores down here was the mighty A&P back in the days.

This place sounds better than Whole Foods

Wegmans has a liquor store adjacent to there market in cherry hill nj.
And they do have alot of specialty items,
Its really geared towards prepared ready to serve foods, for that upper end young urban professionals who are always on the go, and don't cook
Its not difficult to boil spaghetti and simmer up some old fashion gravy

.
