Shut down

Dock workers been down for almost 2 weeks now. Never given any info, found out by asking a few drivers. All dock workers are talking with each other to give updates cause no one is telling us if we are working or not.
 
I hope they don't think they are going to be paid for that time ! I feel bad for all the good guys that worked there. I hope they can all find new jobs with a better company that care about there employees doing the right thing.

You screwed up though, after I blew the whistle of what was going on and certain person was standing out side his office listening to him on the phone screaming that he wanted me out of there and he didn't care what it took to get me out of there. The truth hurts and karma is a bitch, but it's nothing but the truth !

Dude, you must be delirious. The issue with the parts was your own employees stealing which we got a handle on very fast. I was and still am employees and never received any notice of not speaking to you. The information you are getting is wrong. How are people going to listen to a disgruntled ex employee or an employee on the front lines.

He couldn't get the truck up a small incline. Only an inch of snow. All the cars had no trouble. His tires were so bad they looked like slicks on a race car

Land air only changes tires when the outer ones blow out. Inner ones are hidden.
 
but don't worry, your whopped out intertrashional was turned up so you can break the law and speed all night, so you don't have to fudge your logbook so bad.....
 
They're making a little revenue with the mechanics, a few drivers, and management making deliveries in pickup trucks and rentals.

Then tell me why the terminal manager claimed that we were imagining this and not to worry about it and don't say anything ! You can cover up what ever you want to, all I no is when I was there we passed the DOT inspection and audit ! And put 5 pieces of equipment that was sitting out of service for months because no one new how to repair them or would even try and the main office was never notified that they were sitting that long out of service. The only problem they had with me was that I wouldn't help cover up things that were going on at that terminal. And wanted to do things the right way. If Tom Spencer new the truth of what was really going on at that terminal he would have cleaned house and why did certain people leave that terminal and go to work at other terminal just to get away from the terminal manger and what was really going on and how come they stopped sending the road tractors to Carstadt after I left for service and repair because they went back to cutting corners again ! Me and the terminal manager were the only one with keys to that shop and that stuff was walking after the shop was closed for the night ! How do think 10 brand new steer tires disappeared ? Sure as hell not when there was a bunch of people working there ! I feel bad for all the good employees that worked there and Tom Spencer because the people he trusted and put in charge were the ones that let him down ! Don't forget the cutting torches and tanks that walked too, and when I reported it the terminal manager told me I was imagining that too and not to worry about it ! But I guess that walked out of the shop full of mechanics and drivers also and nobody saw anything ? Give me a break ! And about that notice saying for employees shouldn't talk to me, how many people would you like for me to produce that got that message ? I am going to see if one of them still has a copy of it. It even came across the message board in the road tractors. The truth hurts but live with it. I hope all the good employees find jobs with better companies, I wish them well. Like I said, I don't hate land Air as a whole, ALL i no is what went on at this terminal and the horror stories I got from other shop foreman of what was going on.

You have got to be kidding me ? Again they are doing what they want and not what is right ! Instead of trying to get there act together they are doing the wrong and illeagal thing again !

I really don't think this is what the FMCSA has in mind when they put a company out of service. if these guys get caught with bills and freight, in personal vehicles, I think they might get nailed, since they are STILL just LAXNE employee's delivering freight that they are not supposed to be delivering...

if you read about the intent of what the regulations are with the FMCSA, they are not ok with skirting around their orders with different trucks, a different name, a sham sale to a relative, etc. its the same thing.

but, reguardless, there is no way they are pulling enough revenue to even pay their electrical bills, let alone everything else they owe money on. I really hope you guys checks are cashed, and they squared up whatever money they owe you. I would be taking ALL my vacation time RIGHT NOW, just to make sure you get the money, because in a week, that might be gone.

The terminal manager use to try doing that all the time when I worked there, trying to get the mechanic or anybody they could to hop in a vehicle and make deliveries !

I hope you guys take all your vacation, and check your 401k to make sure they have been putting in what they are supposed to, as they wont have to give you anything if they close the doors...
