Thanks Seamus20 but that's ugly for Carlisle's road men IMO. The only location on that list that isn't an armpit or worse would be Hagerstown . Well...Scranton's not too bad and we have Banko's.

Just passing on the info as I have it. I feel badly for Carlisle drivers. I'm not sure how bad 18 runs hurts them however losing work is never good

I would say that it is its own COO and not an extension of anything else. New and received on Jan 8, 2016. No conversion of road jobs to UE just an alleviation of layover runs. It will be up to the locals to establish how the boards are handled. i e single line board seniority or separate seniority boards for the road and city. I would hope that separate boards would be established to protect those who transfer.
Actually that is not all. For example in 051
I have a friend in Carlisle who says they are losing 18 road spots yet this only shows 1. I wonder if that is because the other 17 spots will be moved out and re-classified has UE drivers while this is only showing road changes?
same at 051. It says we are losing 2 road drivers. However another piece of paper not shown here and is posted in conjunction with this says this. They will be moving 1 driver to 068,054,055,258,and 090. By my math that adds up to 7!

Greensburg, Pa. is getting one road bid from Carlisle. You are right about separate committees hearing COO's. Pittsburgh COO concerns UE .......Greensburg COO concerns road operation. I'll be sitting down with my BA at the Union meeting today and reading the COO that he finally got......sure took a while.

I was told that there are two different COO's? One is a 37 road men being moved around and the other is 59 road to UE. No details on it from me sorry.

Sad part is some guys say." Well, in this change of operations that they are gonna let these guys go here and these guys go there". That's what they want you to believe. Look at the sheet. If it says we are losing 2 road drivers from our domicile and nobody goes then the bottom 2 will be laid off. If you don't believe me watch and see

In our terminal we have one list and I believe that the men that follow the work only maintain their seniority for vacation purpose other than that they go to bottom of list!

If someone follows their work from a loosing terminal they maintain full Seniority and would dove tail into the list according to seniority. What your referring to is covered under article 5 in NMFA.

It would work that way if it was an elective transfer and supposedly the company does not permit them anymore. In a COO Akita has described how it goes.

If everybody passes, the last two guys have an option to follow the work. In Winstons case, Charlotte, Hickory, Wytheville, Roanoke and Greenville as UE. If they want Road they can go to Avenel NJ.
Not sure why your talking about layoffs when the road board is almost always exhausted

If nobody goes. The last 2 guys will be laid off. Read it. It says we will lose 2 road drivers. Geez, pay attention

by the way, tell that too some of the bottom men. They have been only getting 2 runs to Atlanta in past few weeks. Board is not exhausted this time of year
