At are terminal we don't even get delay pay our road closure pay. We are lucky if we get are breakdown pay. I have a feeling that will have to change in the future. Every line haul driver I have talk to is fed up with it. How can a company have a 82 operating ratio and have drivers work for free.can someone tell me why we make less than min wage on delay pay?? please don't post,at least they are giving you something. keep this logical,not silly...
The management knows they can offset that by sending the employee a hand signed birthday card every year....lol, thats why they have an 82 operating ratio, no delay pay, no hourly line haul, no breakdown pay, no overtime, etc. but you know what they say, don't like it? go somewhere else

I have been at Fedex for 18 years,and I would say our problems are minimal. We have always got time and a half,and all of the other things people say they aren't getting at OD. That is considered extended layover pay. Never had to claim that load always ready after 10 hours.When I was running LH I got delay pay. I would call Linehaul manager next day and tell him him how many hours and bam it was on next check. If I remember correctly it was after 2 hrs coming off 10 sitting at hotel.
