I am a pt dockworker with about 2 1/2 years . I hear there is a provision for pt workers that allows us to take 89 days off . What i have heard is that it is used for students and employees in good standing. I know persons with other jobs that have been allowed to utilize this . What is the technical term for this time off provision . Is it generally available ( though i know it is kind of kept quiet.) I am a fair worker with a pretty good record , but I am generally an individualist and don't have tight relationships with any persons with pull. If it is readily available I woud like to know some details Thanks

When I was a pt dockworker I had a non work related injury and had to have surgery. I was off for six months. I was worried that I would lose my pt gig, my manager told my it was no big deal, I just had to clock in once every 90 days or you were let go. So once every 80 days I would go and clock in watch a movie then clock out. I don't think there was a technical term for it.

Sorry didn't mean to hurt your feelings. But the rest of us figured out what he ment before you accused him of stealing time.

Yeah I got my feelings hurt. (rolls eyes) What's the matter, the dictator (moderator) Jim Jong-un (JimBob) censor your post too often over in the the North Korean.... I meant Old Dominion forum? That must be why you stay over here so often.
