I run under a 900 and have been available but told no work ten days of the month.

900 is extra board isn't it? I didn't think extra board applied to that rule...
 
Yes Skeeter 900 extra board N/G.
Why not it is a bid job?

Everyone here is under the impression N/G means your not guaranteed to work when really it means when you are put to work you are only guaranteed 4 hours not 8.
Does this make any sense?
No one is guaranteed work.

No but I want to work at least enough to cover my gas expense to get back and forth to work...
 
Its goes by the number of full time employees on that board. 90 percent of all full-time employees are guaranteed 8 hours when put to work. So a 900 doesn't always mean not guaranteed.
