had the unfortunate pleasure of riding a new uncomfortable seating Pete yesterday and I noticed someone jammed a piece of chewing gum into the pee hole. What exactly is the purpose of this circular oddity?? Camera? Cigarette snuffer outter? Inquiring minds wanna know
 
Cameras are all mounted to the windshield, although whoever stuck gum in there probably thought it was one.

If it was a camera, and someone defaced it like that, it wouldn't stop it from recording if triggered. The company would not only know you triggered an incident, but that you also deliberately obstructed the camera to prevent them from seeing anything. The cameras also have audio recording.

As to what it is? I can only say that it's not a camera.
 
I don't drive a Pete but was told it's a speaker/buzzer that is louder and has a higher pitch than the KW's. The gum, paper, or whatever is in the hole was probably an attempt to muffle the sound.
 
It's a piezo beeper for the following distance warning. If you cover it up with your finger when the beeping is going it makes it not as loud.

Thanks all for he reply. I guess the correct answer is a speaker thingy. Great looking tractor and horrible on the human back. If I'm ever force assigned this POS, I'm screwed 'cause I already have a screwed up back. Does anyone test this crap on a long haul b4 they put these things into production??
