This is the XPO LTL board. I come here here for information about the company that I work for, not the company you work for. I don't care what you think or what you think you know. We don't post useless info on your boards so why do you post it on our board. ABF and YRC are hot dumpster fires so whatever you have cooking over there we don't want it. Thanks so much, have a safe trip and God bless you wherever you may go.

I guess we could drop by their boards and try to stir up trouble. A lot of posters agree with you but when you respond to them , you give them what they feed off of : Attention.

Ultimately , the moderators of these boards will handle them because it hurts the bottom line. I talk to guys with our company and others that stay away from Truckingboards and/or look for alternatives specifically because of the "trolls" that hijack meaningful conversation. Yes , the "trolls" discourage participation.

For the "trolls" that are intelligent enough to know better : why continue to make yourselves look like idiots time and time again? After constantly loosing most arguments , and fighting battles that were lost years ago , and holding grudges against people that have no problem with you - why not act like the grown up you're supposed to be? Maybe then you'll get the attention that you struggle for with the trollish behavior.

On one hand, it's good to compare information. On the other, there are a lot of people trying to push their agenda on other boards. I don't work here, but I do come here (as I do with several boards here) to gain insight on what's going on here.

Some members like to derail threads with their own agenda under the false belief that free speech applies to an Internet forum. It doesn't. Fortunately, the mods are doing a good job of handling the routine troublemakers. :encouragement:

If Jackie Presser had not gave permission to start double breasting there would not be a Con-way today and you would be working along side me in a union job with full benefits.

When you were still playing with hot wheels I was fighting for your future by standing on picket lines and listening to Supervisors threaten me verbally and physically.

Once a dock Supervisor took a scoop shovel to a Business Agent at the Fremont, IN terminal. The BA had a cut on his arm and the Doctor had to close it with stitches. Another time I had a Terminal Manager tell me my wife was a Wh.. and my children were bas... in the hope of provoking me to attack him. Another time, while everyone was on the dock working, the company dumped everyone's lunch pails on the floor in the break room and turned over the tables and chairs.

So you will excuse me if the only flesh you have in the game, at this point, is a little worry over your job. You are part of the bigger story regardless if you want to be or not. The only hope I have is that some day we will put aside our differences, join arms and stand firm forcing these companies to treat us with respect and share with us the economic gains they now enjoy.

This has no place here. Go beat your chest somewhere else. Please. And thank you.

Side note. Ain't no one doing that intimidation bull ::shit:: today. Call the wife a ***** or whatever. Attack a mans family. And get followed home to cap yours while you watch and then dump a fresh clip into you. There ain't no cowards and you can and will be held directly accountable for your actions. Unacceptable behaviors lead to unacceptable consequences. If you got a problem with a man you need to keep it right there between the two of you. ::shit:: can get real ugly, real fast if you want it to. There are a lot of ways the young men of today are different from the young men of yesterday. Guys would probably even periscope it so the whole world can see, like that fella that shot those reporters. Not scared to fight, but proud to fight and wanting the whole world to see that truth unfold. It's kinda weird. We look at the past as a less tolerant time. But today, tolerance is at an all time low. People will snap over just about anything.

Dude. These guys tear me up. It's our fault we are pissed about hearing their ::shit::. We are supposed to be glad to listen to them whine and hijack our board all the time. It's all our fault for not appreciating the way they ruin everything for us. OMG

In this particular thread you brought the union in to it?........

Good lord radman, how old are you, 11?

Well, I would leave another response to your subject, but it seem the " SUPER MODERATOR" doesn't want related conversation if the other person has ever worked for a union company. I left a totally on topic answer earlier and now it is erased. Good luck telling each other what you want to hear without any outside forces around to alter your thoughts with the scary " union stuff. Hold on tight, you will need to in the next few months.

For those of you that are on the OTHER side of the original posters complaints : Is there an example of XPO/Con-way people posting to your boards over and over and over again in an attempt to stir up issues?

Do XPO/Con-way people constantly pull the threads off topic , disrespecting the spirit of the forums?

Honestly , I don't see myself as a crybaby , but almost every person that posts to instigate is coming on here to fight old fights with people that have little or nothing to do with ANY union problem.

Question for those who want to keep having a pissing match about union versus non-union: If you want to convince drivers to unionize how does it help to come on non-union boards and argue with people that ( for the most part ) chose to work where they are and chose to stay where they are? Even with the ups and downs that EVERY job has , the vast majority of us work here by choice - what do you gain from saying one way ( union ) is the answer for most of the issues we face when you have so many problems that you cannot address?

Who said anything Union?
Nobody cares if you are union or not.

I'll stand up for you or anyone's desire to exchange information and ideas here or anywhere else ( even if I disagree ) as long as we're civil.

And to be clear , nobody cares if you are union or not - the issue is the huge overlap of those claiming to be union and those posting to stir up trouble and instigate stale , tired arguments that are totally off topic.

I have never come on here to cause trouble just to converse. Good Lord, if you folks want to only talk between yourselves about your own issues, God Bless you. I listened to all of the whining I care to hear. Please don't bring your sad stories to the union boards either. Remember. Who wants to talk to those big mean teamsters and catch a case of the Union. Oh that's right, you can' t catch it you have to vote for it. As for recruiting for the teamsters, this would never be a good time for that. The union has plenty of their own issues.

This is not aimed at you. When you have something good you don't have to sell it , it sells itself. On the other hand , if something is NOT good you have to push it , sell it , and promise it will be better.

I understand that not all union people troll. And not all union people are in a bad situation. For those satisfied with where they are and the deal they have , I hope the rest of us can find what you have.
