When a running back scores a touchdown is it just him that gets all the credit? I would hope not. I believe it requires a team effort.

But...the people physically delivering the stuff will never see a bonus. I bet you anything that Dedicated Customer service blah blah blah whatever title they have will be getting a nice fat bonus. The difference in your analogy and mine is that the running back shares with the linemen. Those on their mighty SAIA thrones will never share with a driver. Now argue with me on that...

You can't say they are getting a bonus for sure. You don't know that. All I know is my check clears the bank and my overall compensation package is more than fair. I don't concern myself with what others get anyway. The one's that sit on the SAIA thrones as you put it keep giving us raises and keeping our healthcare cost from increasing. That's good enough for me. I'm very grateful.

Some people on here have an interest in SAIA because they use to work here like yourself. I can understand. But some are just trolls that I now choose to ignore because they have only one agenda and that's to be confrontation and instigate. They don't work here and never have. So truthfully they have no business here and although the rules allow them to be here they really should be banned from this forum because they NEVER bring anything positive. I don't set the rules but if I did I would change them to target the blatant trolls. We all need constructive criticism from time to time. But many of these guys bring nothing but a calculated confrontation attitude. And I find it pathetic that it is allowed here.

So why oh why oh smart one would BigBuck have a vested, or any interest in Saia simply because she is a former employee? Actually a former employee that you said had an axe to grind

Of course, there are some folks who do not seem to be able to cooperate. Their long suit is criticism, destructive and not constructive criticism, at that. To those I would quote the words of Edmond Burke: "Applaud us when we run, console us when we fall, cheer us when we recover, but for God's sake, let us pass on!"

Here is the most constructive advice I can give: SAIA should begin sharing any and all bonuses with all employees. That would be a great step forward, and be very innovative.

Did you know that SAIA is now advertising to sales people, that they have unlimited earning potential? There used to be a cap, but they removed it. Why would they do that? Do any of you believe that a sales person works any harder than a driver? Are they under scrutiny by the company...yes. But drivers are scrutinized by: the general driving public, the company, the Feds, you name it. So if a salesperson get the sale for, say, 10 bills a day...he/she gets all of the credit? Sorry, but I think that is a dead end philosophy.
