So...are there regional bonuses again this time around?

No not till years end , and Holland is just the CASH COW for the yellow pig !!

I got you a new shirt to wear this weekend partner

Operational Highlights

  • YRC Freight recently added its new Accelerated service which allows customers’ non-guaranteed shipments to reach their destinations one to two days faster than standard transit times.
Or basically what Holland has done for over 80 years
You are correct , have heard this from a lot of shippers that Holland has the fastest transit times !!

It is all in the MOU. what the regionals and yrc have to have for a OR for the year. this is just the first qtr.
why are you busting on the regionals for their performance anyway?
Regionals lowered their OR by 2 percentage points from 1st quarter 2015. Hauled less frt and made more money.

Knowing old Yeller they're probably offering to do it for less than Holland. I have seen them come and try to undercut New Penn rates here.

Yeah, but by the time they are done damaging it and milking the clock, they'll screw that up too.

Yep. I watched the same thing. An excellent Holland shipper told me that Yeller had cut our rates and took the freight. That's a fact.......and the stupidest thing I've ever heard of.
It is being posted that Holland is busy in some areas. Well YRCW will fix that problem and lighten Holland's volume by cutting their rates to beat them out of the freight.

:duh: Just plain :censored: :duh:!!!!!!

We were told by the regional sales rep that Corp wants 2000 more bills in the system ASAP. It's really busy in Me. Could be doing a lot more business if we had manpower and tractors.

That would be great if YRC hadn't ran the equipment to shambles and ran all the help off. That and many of the drivers that are left don't give a crap and are hitting on about 5 cylinders. Freight gets damaged, equipment gets damaged, and people are wasting clock time to try to cover the lost wages due to the give backs. Nobody cares or has pride in the company anymore. I'm out of SG and have to unequally share a sales rep with Joplin. Our TM has begged for a sales rep dedicated to us and has been fought every step of the way. We are in a very freight rich area, don't have the difficulties hiring drivers that are common on the east side of the system, have the dock space, and could pump a lot of good freight into the system if we just had someone out shaking the bushes! Maybe they ought to think about that.

Had 2 city drivers quit and 2 retire in Milwaukee this past week. No prospects to replace them either. Several more are getting ready to retire or looking elsewhere. The new Holland morale program is doing wonders here.

Right on the button. Good post.

When I was on the road board, it seemed like every time I went through Milwaukee there was some kind of argument going on in the break room. I never did figure you Milwaukee Guys out.
