Old Dominion operates the best of any Ltl carrier and if you notice they outsource the least.
You could probably double that number if you count money paid to drivers to sit at home
I believe that includes rail and local cartage as well as the truckload carriers doesn't it?
Was surprised to see how much abf does that way. More than yrc, and their total revenue is a bit more than half of yrc.
I think it may have to do with the abundance of low hanging wires they have to deal with.
With the shortage of driver's and more driver's retiring & Quitting , a lot more will be outsourced & put on rails in the next year , plus it's cheaper for the yellow pig , per Jamie !!!

Interesting, higher ups around here swear we can't make money giving away freight. Maybe management should be required to intern at old d so they can figure out how to make money without giving jobs away.

Well they were supposed to use PTS for new accounts and overflow.You see how well they honored that wording in the MOU.They didn't so therefore I don't trust them
Bigtruk, there's nothing in the MOU restricting PT to new accounts. Wouldn't it be better if you read and understood the MOU before posting incorrect info?
