Yellow | Hi Visibility Vests

This situation sounds similar to delivering to a job site that requires everyone to wear a hardhat. I always found the job site would provide what they require you to wear. If there is no one at your terminal to make a decision, then I would just take the freight back. It's not your problem.

Whenever I was told to wear a vest when in the yard at any of our own terminals I was given one to wear.
 
Whenever I deliver to BNSF they require hard hat, safety glasses, vest and long pants, as well as steel toe shoes. Except for the shoes and pants they have given me the rest. I keep them in my tractor along with a pair of sweatpants that I slip on when necessary
 
I will not wear some nasty vast that I have no idea who's wore it and what kind of bathroom habits the previous person has. Or hardhat or safety goggles YRC will give you those items if you request them Just be insistent and don't take no for an answer

They always made me stay in my truck while they unloaded it, I was heartbroken...

Can someone point me in the right direction for a heavy duty vest that I can use on occassion ? I have to wear a vest at a customer location or they wont take the freight at all. Safety guy from 123 was in the other day to give us all handjobs and cookies about the cameras in trucks and said that if your in the yard now you also need a vest. Thanks to all that reply.

alot of companies that require you to have one on their docks have ones to lend out to drivers.
