Maybe in addition to cutting your pension, we should cut your retiree health coverage so you die off faster and help save the fund. Hows that sound mr meester?
I tell you what... You send me half of your monthly wages and will be satisfied. That is exactly what you're asking me to do is give up half of my pension. If you think I don't need half of my wages apparently you don't need half of your wages so just send it my way. By the way I am looking out for my family and to keep as much as I can and not give it away.
Jr man suck it up and do your job and quit whining.

I am and have been for decades and will have nothing to show for it at the end. I dont want anymore contributions being made on my behalf when there is nothing for me. If we had a vote tomorrow to exit the fund I would put a big bold X in the yes box. How about this mr max meester, I give you half of my ass to kiss.

You guys just don't get it. They are pitting the Actives against the Retirees. People are blaming the wrong people. The consent decree was responsible along with Congress, Wall Street, the DOL, and the US District Courts. DOL and the US District Courts have been receiving annual reports since 1982. They picked the fiduciaries, They monitored the finances... and they sure as heck allowed this happen.

In 2008-2009 the fiduciaries were investing in high risk investments, including Russian Banks, CSPF LOST 11 BILLION DOLLARS during the housing crises!!! Since 1982 CSPF has lost over 20 Billion Dollars... So quit your whining and start getting involved. Write your Representatives telling them to support KOPPA, and Pension Accountability Act, along with Senator Stabenow, and Senator Peters Pension Fund Integrity Act of 2016 (S. 2894),

This isn't just to protect the Retirees, but will protect everyone's pension. GET INVOLVED TODAY AND STOP COMPLAINING... iF YOU DO NOTHING THEN THAT IS WHAT YOU WILL DESERVE

If people keep fighting nothing will get done and the fund will run out of money. We are not asking for a Bailout, We are asking for Restitution of the money that has been stolen.

I do want to do something. I want my share now so I can still make something off of it by investing. This fund will be broke when it is my turn to retire, so just like the retirees who come to our barn begging me to write congress to stop the cuts, I want what is mine. Why should I contribute so THEY can burn thru all the money before I can get there?

No I'm not. And if I have anything to say about it your pension fund wont be getting any more from me as well.

I paid in my 35 years. Not surprised you not paying in and more than likely not paying dues so that amounts to you deserve nothing (Jr) Have a good day (Jr)

I work for Holland so I am barely paying in. As for dues, yes I pay. I also serve as a shop steward which doesnt pay me anything. 4 generations of my family paid dues and into the funds as well, and served as stewards, BA's, and local e-board members. So go pontificate to someone else, chump. Watch how you talk to those still working. WE have your retirement in OUR hands.

That's exactly why I'll want no cuts until it's gone because you say you're not going pay in and that's fine. Full pension check no cuts till it's gone. Plain and simple you don't pay and you deserve nothing.

I'm done... Thanks for the chit-chat (Jr)

Have a good day

And that is fine with me. Just give me back what I have contributed to this point so I can make it work for my retirement. The way I see it CSPF owes me 20 years of weekly contributions. Pay me out and I will be done. Have a nice day chump.

Oh and hey dummy, I dont have a choice but to pay in. If we can get out of the fund in the next contract you best believe the majority will vote to get out and then leave you hanging. Best practice saying "would you like fries with that"

Everybody that is vested deserves something, nobody should get nothing. The best way to accomplish equity is to distribute the funds proportional to years of service.

That's a bailout by another name. It won't happen.
No one can change the past, it's over. We must deal with the reality of today.
The only math that works is to make every one of the 410,000 in the fund an immediate equal 50% cut, forget about the past, and move on.

You said that right, you are barely paying in, but yet, you feel you have the right to complain like all get go because you chose to do so. I have news for you, you gave up that right to complain about anything that has to do with the pension when you voted for that restructuring agreement. Tell me, did you for one moment think of what could possibly happen in the future to those other Brothers and Sisters that still do and those that have spent their whole career paying full contributions? I think not, you were only thinking of yourself under the guise of fear when you checked that yes block.

As for you serving as a shop steward, do you actually think they should pay for that? That sure sounds like you're complaining to me. It's a wonder why you're not crying about getting your dues money back too.

Finally, as far as you having everyone's retirement on your hands like you are the one that will be making the calls which couldn't be further from the truth. You will just continue allowing yourself to be manipulated once fear is thrown into the equation, but as usual, you will think that it is you calling the shots. That is just one of many strategies involved when it comes to the divide and conquer algorithm, pitting the ones that buckle under fear against the ones that don't.

Now, time to wake up and stop dreaming about getting back what you have paid in thus far because that will never happen, even in your wildest dreams. Who knows though, if you cry to the right people, they might feel sorry for you and as a joke give you back what you, personally, have contributed since 2009. That might cover one month's electric bill.

Thanks for the info fool. First off I never voted for the MOU's, I knew exactly what them passing meant. Secondly, I've been contributing a lot longer than since '09. Full contributions that I will never get back because those that are retired dont want to take a cut to save the fund. They want full payments until it runs dry. Well thats fine let them run it dry, but give me back what I put in first. Why should I get nothing for all the years I put in because of greedy retirees? They came to our barn crying the like little babies because they are going to be cut. Only worried about themselves. Well I guess I will worry about just me, give those of us working back what we put in and get us out of the funds. Let the retirees run their own well dry. **** em.

That's a great way of thinking there, forget about the past, and move on. Let me think, they screwed me in the past and I let them get away with it and just moved on. After all, who would ever dream of doing it again in the future since I showed them by accepting that it's the reality of today and just moved on. Oh, that poor squirrel, he keeps bringing in the nuts to get by the winter only to have others stealing his stash, but that's ok, he just keeps moving along, doesn't he? Now tell me, how does he survive the winter? By the way, I'll take the role of the "others" and you can be the "poor squirrel" since you believe in just moving on.
