As far as I know SwampRatt is still very much pro bring the Teamsters to FedEx. We disagreed, very civil in our debates. No need to convince the other person to see things our way. We were reasonable, civil and persistent in our views and would consider the man a friend, though we've never met.

Not every post that quotes me requires a response. Neither of those posts asked me a question. Neither of those posts contained anything that I disagreed with.

That's not saying much, that's just your perspective, he may or may not feel the same way about your debate or about you for that matter. You do realize that some people are polite and courteous even when they can't stomach someone, don't you? I'm not saying that's the case with you and him, I'm just saying.

As for you saying that "not every post that quotes me requires a response", but you sure felt it necessary to add your two cents after the mod stepped in, didn't you? Just what were you debating there, nothing. You just saw an opportunity to vent your frustration because the debate didn't go as you planned, which is fine by me, but don't be crying and whining about us doing nothing but this childish bickering like we are doing now. After all, we both know what you think of me and what I think of you, so just what are you still crying and whining about?

Weren't you ever taught that we all can't have everything we want out of life?

No, you couldn't of ever been taught that there's a difference between just wanting something and actually earning it, or you wouldn't of even associated a full pension with "we all can't have everything we want out of life". So why are you lying?

You're right, there are no guarantees in life but if you were taught that nothing in life is guaranteed then you should of also been taught that some things are worth fighting for. Either you were a product of poor teaching or you don't think a full pension is worth fighting for. Anything else?

I have never said a pension isnt worth fighting for. Your lack of reading comprehension and total ignorance of simple math, is a product of your failed education.

You didn't have to, Your actions speak louder than your words ever could have by just your willingness to roll over and accept the cuts, your unwillingness to get involved in the fight, your continuous rants of rage against those who are fighting to keep the full pensions and all your crying and whining accusing those who aren't just willing to rollover and accept the cuts of being greedy and selfish. That's yrc-atm for you, always whining, crying and complaining about something. He's just one of those kid's that won't like a word that is said by someone once he makes up his mind and considers them to be deviants.

I got used to his smart aleck comments and now consider him just coming with the territory, just like that little gnat that buzzes around your ear when your sitting out on the back porch relaxing at night. Just a little nuisance that you have to keep shooing off every once in awhile.
 
yrc-atm hard at work....says...I work for Holland so I am barely paying in. As for dues, yes I pay. I also serve as a shop steward which doesnt pay me anything. 4 generations of my family paid dues and into the funds as well, and served as stewards, BA's, and local e-board members. So go pontificate to someone else, chump. Watch how you talk to those still working. WE have your retirement in OUR hands.

I never griped about not being paid as a steward. If I had a problem with it I would simply resign the position. So this is a lie.
I also never said I talked 4 generations of my faimily into anything. 2 generations have died off long ago. Wont have 4 generations of a family all of working or retirement age. That is simple math that is obviously lost in your cause. So that was a lie as well.
And I never said I was against receiving a pension. To the contrary I am very much for it. That is why we need to do what is necessary to keep it solvent for ALL. Not just those who are collecting right now. If you spend more than you take in you have to reduce spending. Again simple math lost on people like you. So this also was a lie of yours.
