Yellow | Change of operations

I started with the R too 86. Still plugging along.
Back then you could go in any barn an get a job and a damn good job.
Better than 16 hour days in the oilfield. I can. I could. And still go home after 8 hours.
8 hour days. 14 bucks an hour. And I just have to work only 8 hours. Hell yes sign me up. It was way easier than the oilfield! More than twice the money too.
Whoo Hoo. Now. Not so whoo hoo now.

Can't drive em anymore. Medical. I can only load them. Or unload.

the coo yrcf wants to do is about..... opening a city terminal on the south side of Atlanta and running Jackson Ms and Memphis Tn out of it. There is a copy of coo it in charlotte

indy ,nash, and charlotte to run to... new south side Atlanta terminal
When the foreign driver doesn't have a load to return home indy, nash , etc does he r she via 402 and rob those drivers of work. Some one had better ck on this before it goes into effect. How about it k k , you know they will do anything until stopped legally

That's right they will via 402. How do you run Jackson and Memphis with no road drivers?

When we get elogs nobody will be turning the Southside, outside of the middle of the night. Indy won't be able to make the run during the day.

The same way we did when we had a terminal in Lawrenceville, GA. and The old 411 terminal....402 has a metro road board and all 3 terminal bids came from that one list.....KK

Been saying for awhile, market conditions will force this company to change or shut down. Our wages are not competitive and most younger people just look at wages. Also for those covered by Cspf, there's no retirement benefits. A young person starting today in an area under central states effectively has no company funded retirement plan. Our whole contract needs to be gutted and renegotiated to make us competitive with other carriers. Young people don't want to work in this field anymore and carriers that cannot attract good people will not survive. It's a different world in our industry today, it's not about cutting costs, it is about attracting and retaining good workers.
Management will never go to the table until 2019 because they THINK they are ahead of the game with the rates they pay into CSPF. They THINK they are ahead of the game with starting pay rates & casuals. Never mind the fact that they are how many Drivers (Road-P&D) and dock workers across the system?
Then there's the other problem. I don't say this lightly, I say it to the SHAME of the Teamsters Union,
Why would anyone want to join a Union that acted the way it did at the Convention?
Why would anyone want to join a Union that will force a contract that the Members voted DOWN? That's not a Union, That's a dictatorship!
