We have an advantage. Enron had a bunch of different single pension funds. Ours has way more in just one group.

Yep, It's called putting pressure on the bureaucrats and making them do the right thing. You have to know what pressure is, after all, that's what made you feel that you had to lie. lol

On Wednesday, the Castros suddenly obtained a comprehensive bailout — from the Obama administration. President Obama granted the regime everything on its wish list that was within his power to grant; a full lifting of the trade embargo requires congressional action. Full diplomatic relations will be established, Cuba’s place on the list of terrorism sponsors reviewed and restrictions lifted on U.S. investment and most travel to Cuba. That liberalization will provide Havana with a fresh source of desperately needed hard currency and eliminate U.S. leverage for political reforms.
Why do any of you think our government gives a rats ass about us.
Communist dictators are much more important than the people that supply goods to this country.
The only bright spot is that they appointed a board to over see the Cuba deal, just like us, no election no accountability.
They will be bankrupt in 10 years also.

That article was in 2014 and as if that insult to the American people wasn't bad enough, that piece of crap added $16 billion to the bailout in 2015. The deal would "forgive" $11 billion of Castro's debt, while the remaining $5 billion would feature "reinvestment" terms -- meaning that it will be "paid" by Castro (on his terms) with the condition that it's then "reinvested" into his military monopolies.

As you may know, the Kline-Miller Multi-employer Pension Reform Act (MPRA) was signed into law in December 2014. It created a process for troubled multi-employer pension plans to make cuts to pension benefits. MPRA was included in the 2015 Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, a bill I voted against.

The Central States Pension Fund, a large multiemployer pension fund with over 400,000 participants across the United States, filed a MPRA application with the Treasury on September 25, 2015. On Feb. 16, 2016, I sent letters to Sen. Lamar Alexander, chairman of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, and Sen. Orrin Hatch, chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, requesting that each committee hold a hearing to explore Central States’ pension problems and analyze the proposed pension cuts. I am pleased that the Senate Committee on Finance held a hearing on pensions on March 1, 2016, and I hope that the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions will soon follow suit. As the Senate continues to debate and analyze pension issues, I will keep your concerns in mind.

It is ridiculous to even think about a split of equal portions for all.

How much are they stealing from our retirement each day to keep CSPF open?

Remember money in your hand is yours, the HOPE is that the retirees will be paid for 10 years.
That's what they want you to believe so we fight amongst ourselves.
