Western COO is posted. I just looked over it quickly while going through Portland. It only concerned Washington, Oregon, and California. Seattle becomes a relay. Linehaul drivers being put in some satelites. All relays are a plus in linehaul drivers and many are a minus in cartage drivers. Sleeper teams are to be put in Portland for running up and down the coast. Seattle will have direct service to many terminals in midwest and east. Someone out west will surely give us better details.

COO first sighting

Well the COO:duh: was posted for 1 day in Bloomington and they say 16 line haul will be posted at various terminals, 821, 828, 827, 837, 825. These guys will be handling 809 frieght. Line haul is a +5, Local cartage is -8. Sac will be primary break for N + S frieght. And they say alot of the frieght will come of the rail in this lane. Seems the rail can not make a 2 day promise, and they want in on the that type of frieght, Thats what it said and now we will see what really happens? Will it change who knows?

Told today by a steward that the coo is has been pulled. Seems the powers to be did not consider or care about the other terminals like Dallas,Chicago and others who were going to lose sleeper runs.

Welcome to the boards mainslacker. It seems that the sleeper runs have been a large issue. We had several teams that ran the west cost from Winston-Salem (671), for a short time. After our COO they did away with them and our west coast service that was in the high 90's slipped back down to the 80's?!? RDWY talks "service, service, service" but seem to make decisions that takes away from it? They should be saying "costs, costs, costs, and you'll get your freight whenever"!! Don't get me wrong, cost must be controlled. Seems that the stock holder is more important than the freight coustomers. DS.

Thats what I was kinda wondering about. I guess they are rethinking things on this COO? Dallas would definitely be effected.

We are all effected one way or another. Good luck all!

D.S., warm up a seat for me, I gotta get there or close! Still holding out for that coffee you promised! And it better be a dunkin donuts, we drivers are picky about our java!

You may have to settle for Krispy Kreme, they are based out of Winston-Salem, you don't see too many dunkin donuts around here. DS.

never had their coffee, but hey I'll give it a try.

What the hell is going on with Management at AGO? It seems they can't get anything right! They had to pull the Eastern COO and redo it.
What happened to do it "rit" the first time?

This may sound crazy, but wouldn't input from drivers and the union help with these COO's?? I'm not talking EEFB:duh: I'm talking Article 20 NMFA..........The parties agree at all times as fully as it may be within their power to cooperate so as to protect the long-range interests of the employees, the Employers signatory to this Agreement, the Union and the general public served by the members of the trucking industry party to this Agreement. Just my thoughts. DS.

My question is where he heard that the east coo was off?
Although, This weekend New England freight came mainly to stroudsburg, cause buffy was swamped and couldn't handle the freight.

I was talking about when they first wanted to put the Eastern COO out and the Union said no for whatever reason. They then reworked the COO to what we have now.

COO back on. Wish they would make their minds up. Anybody got any info that went down at the national hearings? Heard some of the union people walked out.

If it's anything like the first coo. teamsters beware! Lost allot of good men from it plus many still getting scr*w*d from it.

well people I hate to sound political But if you sit down and look at the big gainers in the last change hoffa barns were all gainers.I was told buy a management person the last change was changed because of politics hoffa made them change it.Don't know how true it is but thats what i was told.?????????

What do you mean by Hofffa's barns?Ain't they all Hoffa's barns? No offense gopher, but that has to be one of the dumbest statements i heard in awhile here on T-boards.
