I think that what matters is how the pension in question's language is written. I do not think that being in upper management of anything disqualifies one from collecting their pension. Here they cannot be my supervisor and collect but they could go higher up in the company and collect.

You would fervently hope that they are indoctrinating the new hires at the PT school as to what a Union is and how it works....
Lord knows they didn't learn anything about Unions in high school, as most school boards are composed of whichever small businessman in the area decides to raise the money to get elected and direct the education of that area......beer distributor owners, convenience store franchisers, funeral home directors..car dealership owners.......the type of people who hate Unions because they ...."interfere".......with profits......
This is where we get school boards that mandate creationalism gets taught alongside evolution.........and American kids slip further behind the rest of the world....
They also mandate their Unionised teachers NEVER to mention collective bargaining to their students,........even though it's been defined as a First Amendment right......
I have two daughter-in-laws who are teachers in different districts,.......who have told me this......
So........ hopefully these former Union Officials are continuing the good work,......and are letting new entry workers know how Unions work and why they exist......
We hope, anyway......
