Just saving the costs of health insurance and pension make it a winning proposition for the company. Not to mention no pay for drop and hook, wait time, excessive layover pay and more.The only thing I can think of is it has to do with manifest loads terminals that don't have a lot coming out of them, but dear lord how cheap is Werner that they will haul cheaper then the company can do it them selves and on top of that say no problem will even provide our own trailers.
