So guys what's the deal with ABF using these Werner Pups. Did not even know Werner had pups.

Just guessing here. Could be 1-ways.( When a carrier loads a NEW trailer from point A to Point B where it is emptied and then picked up by the owner )

Werner may be running Rocky Mountain doubles west, . ..... maybe that's why they have pups, and why many of us on the east coast never saw a Werner pup.

Which is a little scary, considering their extremely high turnover rate and possible experience of their drivers.......

Maybe Werner has started using pups at ABF's request. Maybe we'll even see CRST, JB Hunt et al dragging them around too. What shocks me more than anything is that it's an ABF tractor pulling the set.

The only thing I can think of is it has to do with manifest loads terminals that don't have a lot coming out of them, but dear lord how cheap is Werner that they will haul cheaper then the company can do it them selves and on top of that say no problem will even provide our own trailers.

Did you mean rollover rate?
C'mon now, it doesn't say 'Swift' on the side...

Just saving the costs of health insurance and pension make it a winning proposition for the company. Not to mention no pay for drop and hook, wait time, excessive layover pay and more.
