ABF | Teamster corruption documents are online

Hoffa, Junior was quoted in 1999 as saying “We will run a clean union.” That was never his intent at all. There's a new website at http://www.retiredteamstersagainstcorruption.org/ which contains evidence of corruption in the Teamster “leadership”.

The information is a little dense, but included are IRB reports, deposition transcripts, letters from the Independent Disciplinary Officers to the IBT, Teamster-to-Teamster emails, subpoenas, charges against Ken Hall, and more.

Thank you, Brother. And here all along, I was giving him the........ benefit of the doubt,.......and saying possibly he,....and his team,.....were maybe bumbling incompetents............instead of outright crooks.

Real Federal charges ..........none of this fantasy Presidential election "he/she's a crook and should be charged" stuff..,....

Power corrupts,........and absolute power corrupts absolutely.....

Maybe they should've left Art. 12 of the IBT Constitution alone, ....instead of changing the rules so that the rank-and-file would lose their right to vote on contracts.......This seems to be perfect karma in action.

We'll spend the next 10 years trying to undo the damage to our reputation,......and contracts,.......and I hope we never......ever....elect another Hoffa again.

They are our own worst enemy and with that behavior how do they expect prospective members to want to join our ranks? And all this time Hoffa's been telling the IRB that we no longer have any corruption in your union and that we don't need their monkey on our backs anymore. They have proven to be a thorough embarrassment all 'round.

You are more optimistic than I am, I don't think that a lifetime would be enough time to repair the damage that they have done to us as rank and file members or unions in general as they perpetuate the rhetoric of what union leaders are.

I hit the "like" button ....... but I don't like it at all. What you wrote is very true.... ...Now how do you go about organizing a company, when they're going to fling this right back in your face?

Our only "stock in trade" as a Union, is being able to have the moral high ground,.....by dint of our hard physical labor,......when dealing with management.

What's wrong with Hoffa and his crew? Don't they see that this type of behavior makes them ......and us, by association,.....a laughingstock to the employers?

Bar them forever,.......and take away those multiple pensions.

That's what I'm talking about. But...to them they're not the bad guys, those who report it and talk about it are...those who talk about it are trying to destroy the union.
