This might help. Loretta Lynch and Comey are out and out the door with them goes Hoffa/Hall's political cover. Your next attorney General may be Rudy Guiliani or some other ball buster. Same thing with the head of the FBI. Hang tight, it's going to get interesting.

FBI director is a 10 yr post can only be fired for cause.
The cause is we don't like him. Actually, the president can work around the 10 year term. Clinton did it in 1993.

...Because firing an FBI director is certain to bring accusations of playing politics with law enforcement against any president who chooses to do so, Clinton repeatedly asked Sessions to resign his post. But Sessions refused to step down.
So in July of 1993, saying that he had been advised by then-attorney general Janet Reno that Sessions “can no longer effectively lead the bureau and law enforcement community,” Clinton fired the FBI director — eventually appointing Freeh in his place...

I support Comey, I think he did a remarkable job considering the circumstances. He turned it over to the ultimate jury.....the American voter. They rose to the occasion.

Everyone from the Obama Administration is tainted, especially anyone who worked under Lynch, and has got to go.

Well......you got your wish. Republicans now have control of all three branches of government.........I guess a Golden Age is upon us....

The smartest thing for the other half of the nation to do is to fold our collective arms.........and stand back and watch......

No more being able to blame the other party for "obstruction"..........the Republicans are now completely in charge.........and completely responsible......

It may become starkly evident to even the most illiterate hillbilly in the deepest hollow......just what happens when you have free reign to run government....like a "business".......and no one else to blame.

Oh, well......,...we survived Nixon......we can survive this........

If you remember the Democrats had complete control during some of Obama's administration.

Just so you know I'm not a Republican nor a Democrat I vote for whoever I think will do the best job. of course IMHO neither party gets a grade A from me and regardless of who has control 50% of the American people aren't going to be happy.

I just pray that they make the right decisions for this country for the right reasons and we can all come together. America was and is the greatest nation on earth IMHO . We just need to get the polticians out of the way.

I wasn't thought of during the Nixon era, but I had a long talk with the man up stairs early Wednesday morning. The GOP whined and complained during these previous years saying all is complete failure. With full control now I wanna not hear but see these bright ideas we never heard from them come true. I hope the hillbillies will stand by their lawmakers they put in office if they can't fix it. If they change things for the better I will applaud them if they not pout cause it wasn't my choice of party.

Please don't take offense to the term if it doesn't apply to maybe your an millionaire I don't know and if so good for you. No im a liberal minded unionized freight hauler who came from a single parent home who used low income based government programs to come out of poverty and enjoy the higher end middle class lifestyle. I don't hate Trump, I just disagree with his ways and believes he's a damn good car salesman. If he can make this country better I'm all for it.

First off your posts are not typical for you and I suspect that you are drunk posting, a practice that I highly recommend people refrain from.

Now that I got that off my chest...All I did Tuesday night was watch and analyze the results of the election as they unfolded and I can probably tell you more about what happened than those nit wits on TV who were totally surprised that Trump won and even asked on air, "How could this happen?". This election was a racially divided election and nobody's talking about that. Overwhelmingly the cities in the swing states went blue (dem) as the rest of the state went red (rep). And this rang true throughout the entire country. The cities have the large numbers and the latest and greatest voting equipment while the 'hillbillies' have older and slower ways to report their results. In all of the swing states Trump started out with a huuuuge deficit in votes as the cities were first to get their results reported (in PA that deficit was some 500,000 votes) and it took a while for him to overcome it but he did. So...if not being in the minority and living outside of the city makes me a hillbilly in your eyes, so be it, I am in the majority and I am happy with the results of this election except for the fact that it is a Republican controlled government at this time, I like a balance of power amongst our legislators.

I'm sober, I preferred a liberal minded chief (well partial) but that didn't happen. If a GOP controlled group can make what me and my family even better I'm all for it. I'm not against the right wing I just tend to have views more left hell I voted for a republican senator in my state for the 1st time believing he had the better ideas to my liking.

Record number of first time voters,....... Record number of slate votes for Republicans,....... probably explained by many first time voters confused how to split tickets, so pressing the big "R" button was the easiest.

The largest total of first time voters weren't 18 year olds, as it had been in past elections.....it was older people , primarily on rural areas.

Even with all of those "firsts" the vote total, cumulatively did not reach the totals Mitt Romney racked up. More Hispanics voted for Mr. Trump than Mr. Romney.........More White college educated women voted for Mr. Trump than Mr. Romney.........

The demographics are fascinating........and it's apparent that it was the older rural first-time voters that decided the election through the Electoral College. Of course, Mrs. Clinton won the cumulative popular vote, same as Al Gore in 2000.

Maybe "hillbillies" is a rather harsh generic term..........Hell,.....some people would call me a hillbilly........rural, no high school diploma,.....white.......got most of my teeth, though.....

But the fact remains that Mr.Trump seemed to resonate in areas where even the moniker "hillbilly" might be embraced.........

I do hope he can come through with whatever he has promised them and earned their vote.
