FedEx Freight | Stop Complaining

If your looking for a 40 hour a week, 5 days a week job,, the transportation industry is not for you. I suggest working for the government. My daughter works for the state of Nevada. It does require a degree but she makes about 78K a year. When she retires, she's got 15 down and 15 to go, her pension will be 90% of her current salary. I wonder why the states are going broke. TP

I would think that the gambling establishments contribute a big % toward her pension....

Come on now..that may be true for some drivers, the ones getting ample OT. But the average is not that much. Even drivers at top pay and the raise are 5k short of 60K a year. Not to mention the several thousands taken for the benefits like health insurance and the like. It is much less than the numbers you claim.

If guys are making 70k city good for them, but I hope the guys under them are getting a whole 40 hours a week.

Seriously, the pigs around here at the top of the board hog everything. Being at the bottom of the board sucks! Or so I'm told by those at the bottom. Personally, I work as little as possible.

ST, how can that possibly be true?
Not so very long ago you told us that you were the only person that pulled their weight around here.

RC always did think ST was a light weight.:poke:

Somedays its easy to think I'm the only one doing the job...since no one in either my via terminal or my layover terminal has any idea what a pre-trip or post trip is....
