But I think Bro. Von. has a point. Hoffa and his cronies benefit when we're beating up on each other........Hoffa and his cronies are the ones that "negotiated" these putrid steaming heaps of contracts ......AND......the MOU's.....and then provided NO guidance or leadership to the members affected...,..

And then you have the matter of Hoffa pushing an IBT Constitutional change of Art. 12, sec. B ........in the middle of UPS contract talks , so he could jam that contract down.......or up....... whichever orifice was handy for Hoffa.....

The membership ought to join together fighting this petty little dictatorship.........

At least UPS paid its liability out of the funds. BECAUSE, they had the money & Federal Law required it. A lot of money, but for UPS, a little bump in the road for one of their quarterly reports. Any time a company can get out of a long term pension or medical obligation they will gladly spend the money now to get rid of any long term debt later.

Ya, but in the winter it can be a problem. Being cold outside ya got to leave the windows up. So you die of frost bite if you roll them down or, by breathing poison gas if you leave them up. Either way not a lot of choices. I can just see the Coroner's report. Death by inhalation of Flatulence Gas. I wonder if there is a placard that covers this gas? In the summer just the reverse. When the gas settles it might run up against a hot exhaust pipe resulting in a big boom. Depending on the amount of said Flatulence, you might surpass the force of a Saturn 5 Rocket. Making you an astronaut of NASA. Just think of all the training you didn’t have to do. ‘Talk about the Right Stuff’ von.

That ship has sailed, He caught so much flack from REAL americans (Palin, Rush, etc,) that he won't be picking winners and losers anymore. When the going gets tough, REAL Americans move their plants offshore.
