Looking for clarification on the policy of transferring between P and D and linehaul. If you transfer from one to the other do you immediately loose seniority or if you transfer back to your original position within a certain period of time do you maintain your original seniority. I've heard immediately by some and have also heard you have 90 days? What's the right answer?

It is my understanding that if you transfer it is lost. I've not heard of the "90 day" rule.

I've heard it's if you come back to job classification within 90 so long as you do your transferring at the same terminal but if you voluntarily go to a different terminal that's not opening up as a new center, you lose your job selection seniority straight away.

:violin:No 90 days:6817: but you keep your hire date seniority, :17113: you loose your seniority if you are a city driver and transfer to linehaul , you go to bottom of the seniority board on linehaul.

So explain this one.....
A Dockperson goes to the OD School becomes a Driver (PnD/LH) but stays on the dock. Company hires new Driver or accepts transfer of driver from another terminal.
Question is who has seniority?

Driver goes to dockworker, but does not loose there seniority.
Why not?

Driver is LH, but does PnD yet there was no choice of selection for job.
Two folded question here.
Does LH seniority remain, does the vacation, holiday, all purpose pay stay as a mileage or as PnD?
