According to this article - Trump met with Trumka and Hoffa "earlier this month". That was before Trump's inauguration and in New York. That meeting carried less weight than the latest meeting in the White House, after Trump became President Trump.
Both Hoffa and Trumka have huge egos and consider themselves far more important and powerful than any US President.
Hoffa considers himself untouchable by the law concerning his corruption. As a result, our members have suffered and will continue to suffer because our leadership keeps picking and financially supporting the wrong political candidates.

one of the last thing Obama said on his way out of office, was if I was elected again I could of neutralized the USA. That mean for the last 8 years that is what he was trying to do....bring the USA down...why??
It's in the Koran. It's the duty of every Muslim to destroy all that do not convert to Islam. Obama is a Muslim through and through and he was doing his part. The Koran also states that is acceptable to lie to and deceive your enemies in order to gain their trust. The Koran (Quran) says in Quran 2:225
"Muslims are allowed to lie to unbelievers in order to defeat them"
That is what Obama has been doing from even before he was elected President in 2008 - lying and trying to bring America down according to the Musim Holy Book, the Koran (Quran). He has said he would have liked to have another 4 years in the WH - presumably to do even MORE damage to America "the Great Satin", in the name of Allah and Mohammad.
Sounds crazy, right? But it's in the Koran for anybody to read - even "unbelievers" of Islam.
