Congratulations ! All the long nights and time away from the family. And all they do for a dedicated employee is to give a door sticker!
What ever happened to the yearly pins. It can't cost but a couple of cents to give a bit of positive feedback to employees. Sorry just my 2 cents! Great job! Stay safe

This is from the investors news release 2/6/17-----"The fourth quarter 2015 results included the $28.7 million non-union pension settlement charge."........ This is to state why 4th quarter of 2015 versus 2016 was`different. See, they paid extra money into the management pension last year and this year they're going technology crazy. No money left for safety pins or dedicated tractors for 3 million+ milers any more.

I was kind of hoping they would review their 3 million mile policy for tractors. I've made my 3 million and sorry if I sound selfish but I'm tired of driving junk.

Hey did anybody notice that they gave Don magnetic signs!!! I'll bet he has to put those signs on each tractor he drives!

A tip of the cap to you, congratulations, true professional, not an easy task

I had the luxury of driving that truck (12013) when it was sent up to Toronto for our provincial truck driving championships. It only had 30k on it at the time. I hope Don enjoys the time being able to drive the same truck every day, he's earned it the same way all the drivers have that have reached their safe driving milestones. I tip my hat to Don for being able to drive safely for so long with everything we have to endure these days on the road.

Ok! What I was saying was to look at those magnetic signs. They give 3 million milers magnetic signs too! But they don't get an ASSIGNED unit with their name on the doors. I have never seen a driver put magnetic signs on the unit he is driving. Just my opinion but I think it's a slap in the face to give a 4 million miler magnetic signs. Does everyone agree he should get an assigned tractor???

Congrats to Don Robinson on achieving 4 million miles, its something to be really proud of !!! I really wish they still designated a tractor to 3 & 4 million milers or more. Seems like YRC preaches safety but when someone reaches a milestone in driving there's not much reward. Just to put things in perspective, I reached 3 million mile in December of 2000, in January 2001 Roadway had a big dinner for me .They flew two ladies from AGO safety department and Cliff the safety man from Atlanta. I was told I would get a brand new 83500 series to drive. I received it March 2001. In May of 2010 ,I achieved 4 million miles , it wasn't recognized until May of 2012 two months before I retired . I got a box with a jacket and plaque and some other trinkets and was told since I was retiring they wasn't going to put the 4 million mile decal on it and that when I retire to go to the shop and they would give it to me then. I guess that decal is still in the shop.
