I am a driver in Dallas and over the past let's say 6 years we have had 4 different terminal managers. 2 were complete piles of . One didn't know up from down and the best one left about 3 and 1/2 year ago. Let's call the best Steve G. Don't get me wrong we didn't hang out but it was obvious he knew what he was doing. Kept everyone happy....everyone. The latest one let's call him Barry came in threatening everyone that he was going to fire you if you did this...that...or the other thing. He covered all the mistakes going on by having his lead dispatcher Damon pull anything off manifests that didn't happen. Covered theft by not reporting it. Kept the drivers, dock workers and office people under his thumb as much as possible. Multiple people violated his don't do's but kept their jobs. let's get away from that.....My question is how many terminal managers have you all had in let's say the past 5 to 10 years. Oh btw Damon did such a good job covering all the mistakes making Barry look good Barry promoted him to OP's manager and the guy doesn't have a high school education.
