Along with the student loan debt bubble and other major financial factors, the looming pensions crisis is bound to be the death of us all.

Because it’s based on a future promise to pay, it has long been a benefit dangled to solve strikes and union disputes – because, in the end, it is just more debt, whether private or public.

With tens of trillions in unfunded liabilities, the weight of an avalanche remains dangling over our heads. An aging population is cashing in on needed retirement benefits while the younger generations must support multiples that are unsustainable financially.

The financial institutes are hell bent on telling us how bad it is that's for sure. Good thing their only goal is my well being.

Illinois Public Pension fund is 84 Billion underfunded. In 2015 case, the IL Supreme Court ruled (You promised them the money, now you have to pay it, all of it), no relief from the State Supreme Court. So now the legislators are or were trying to change the Illinois Constitution so they don't have to pay so much money. So far it has failed. And that 84 billion does not include the City of Chicago Teachers Fund, about 15 Billion behind. Another problem child. And on & on. What I just posted is a VERY TINY picture of the Pension Funds in America. Start your bending over exercises & stock up on the KY, ya gonna need it. von.

Only bigger and more destructive.
Unfortunately I'm gonna live long enough to live in it. Or out of it. When it burst. This one will be as bad. 08 was bad. What goes up. Must come down as they say. Being at the bottom I will crater.

So...., what's the minimum monthly amount we can expect from Uncle Sugar(govt.)???

I drive a 2008 pickup that is payed off. I carry no credit card or other such debt. At the end of 2017 I will own my home. This is the best advise that this retiree can give.

My vehicles have left hand threads on the left side wheels and manual chokes. They were paid off the day I bought them with cash. Pay yourself first and live on what is left.
