R&L | Employment in San. California

I'm thinking about applying. I drive for a major grocery chain. I love the job and free medical, guaranteed 40 hrs per week even if there is no work. But hate giving up the weekendstairs.
Is it worth leaving for R&l? Will I Work?
I'm applying for p&d.And thats for Southern California.
How much will they start me with?

I'm not in Cali, but about the only thing I can tell you for sure, as an extra P&D driver, there are no guarantees about working every day, at least not at my service center, and as a combo driver, which you would most likely be at first, you will be working weekends too doing extra line haul. Good luck on whichever you choose.
