Yellow | Takin city trucks

If someone is that miserable at a job that they have to resort to something so pathetic as destroying company equipment, man up, and just quit.

I remember hearing some drivers complaining about slow freight trucks & hearing about the fast shiny Peterbilts they owned before they started to work under the NMFA. The local business agent told them they need to go back to where they are happy.

She looked more like this. And what about my 2wheeler?

Those rigs probably made more revenue than any other piece of equipment in any fleet. They had been paid for 20 years before they were pulled out of the fleet.

That is back when men were men. No A/C, power steering, air suspension or auto shift transmissions. Driving these rigs with solid cab mounts & nut buster spring suspension separated the men from the sissified whiners. These were not glamorous but like other freight line city rigs the company wouldn't have stayed in business without them. So how is your back after years of delivering & picking up freight in them?

Heck, when I started we used to have to pay for our own kerosene for the headlamps. Of course we kept a little for use at home to light the house also.

I drove one for 15 years and it was a good tractor to use for p&d in the NY/NJ Metro area. My last 5 years at Roadway I drove a International and it was a good tractor. Thank God after 39 years of peddling freight my back is in pretty good shape. :tr10driving03::guiness:

Just a matter of time, wake up guys go find work elsewhere, a lot of trucking jobs out there. Look at other companies and there equipment, The other LTL have very good equipment.

I think you're right Wong. My newer Volvo road tractor with auto shift trans and satellite radio had mud all over the wheels this weekend. Someone is definitely trying to make the equipment look old and worn out.
