If a person could actually get the true cost of PTS vs. yrc linehaul, I would bet it is $1.00- 1.50 per mile cheaper using PTS .. I don't see any ltl carrier carrier giving up using it either.Maybe using PTS in the wrong way cost too much money.
You think CRST ordered those single axle sleeper tractors for free? All these pts companies have a contract per Pacheco and you me and all of us are paying for itIf a person could actually get the true cost of PTS vs. yrc linehaul, I would bet it is $1.00- 1.50 per mile cheaper using PTS .. I can see now why some say the lights are "dim" in Texas ....You think CRST ordered those single axle sleeper tractors for free? All these pts companies have a contract per Pacheco and you me and all of us are paying for it
SWEET !! keep up the good work on making yrcw look poor for 2019 !!
Im curious. Where are the comments from the posters who always say "how can you lose money you never had"?
Just saying.
Thanks. Had a bet on time it would take to get a reply. Easy money!!
Are you happy with the 1st qtr numbers? Are you ready to give up some more? But still not as quick as your deflection of the inaccuracy of your original post.
I see people sitting around my terminal on the clock too. Wonder if we multiply by say 10,000 people sitting around the clock,or sitting anywhere During their day,for say 1 hour a day,5 days a week, every work day of a quarter? Wonder how much $$ that comes out too?I still think they overuse PTS.I don't know exactly the category that contributed to the loss.I see our people sitting around on the clock at 511 all the while PTS drivers coming and going.I don't think the company is coordinating the linehaul and PTS correctly.
BIG R man alot of this delay time isn't of the one hour type.just my observation at 511I see people sitting around my terminal on the clock too.
