They gave up caring shortly after YRCW buy out.
You are right. That's why YRC is called "the cancer of the trucking industry". From past history any company that is "infected" with the virus called YRC, the end is inevitable. YRC drains the life blood out of whatever company they buy out with leveraged bank loans until there is nothing left to take. That has been the MO of Yellow ever since the 90's. The employees suffer (both middle mangement and union members) while the top management keep stuffing their pockets. When the CEO and his top cronies feel they have stolen enough, they leave with the bonuses and "golden parachutes" that were written into their contracts. Then new replacements come in to "save" the company and the whole process is repeated.
It's like a script written by Bernie Madoff.

They make orange masking tape now, put that and a little grease as Henry suggested and all is good keep rolling.
Better explain what sarcasm is. Th rookies reading this will take you serious !
The way Holland maintenance is now after the TRCW takeover, they would like that . until the wheel comes apart and someone dies.
Then it would all be on the driver (if he's still alive). Lawsuits would follow. Holland would claim no knowledge of any defects. They would say "Driver's responsibility to pre-trip vehicle and accept it as safe to operate". Once that is done and unit is on the road, Holland will "hang you out to dry".
I've seen it happen.

Probably the equipment that a part fell off and went through another driver's windshield causing that driver to die.Happened a few days ago..true story
