Yellow | the exodus

It's going to be a humbling ride one day, after you have torn a ligament or broken a bone, and you have to get saved by some burger eating, chain smoking, ambulance driver....

Sure as hell won't be happening to me. I work smart with safety in mind. Not some dumb fool you see giving a 3k pound pallet all he's got with his back.

So you grew up on Krypton, I get that.
Beware is the sign on his back.
Some things should not be boasted about and kept to yourself. Especially at your age. If that's what you say. That your an older mature person.
I know someone who also slung freight all day and worked outside of work. Well. His actions put someone else on lifetime disability. He never thought he would go out either. And he hasn't. But someone else did from his slingin freight.
Whereas comes in the sign.

What are you, 10? Think of all the time of the day, and all the things that happen beyond your control. You only have so much control of your life, caution and intelligence can only do so much. Never say it can't happen.

I make over 80k in the city at OD every year. Close enough. But I live ina state that forces the cheap sob to give me ot after 40.
If you think eighty is close enough to one hundred you think a whole lot different than most of the people on here. That's twenty percent and most everyone on here has a major ::shit:: fit over fifteen percent so I am not sure we are on the same page....close enough my ass! One percent is not close enough for me!

YRCW latest stock price.............$7.71 and dropping as of 1:20 PM on 6/16/2017 (today)

Not good

Smart money jumped in back on May 16th and bought YRCW shares at that low price. Today the shares are selling at 10.46. That's a 35% gain in less than a month. Easy money if you don't let your emotions about the company screw with your head. :smile new:

Couple years ago I did lazy math with limited info. 56 cents mile at Holland 60 cents where I'm at (no dues). 2500 miles a week. Benefits vs benefits (as I said, going off what I read on here). Difference is negligible over a years time. We work where we end up. Your guys (surprisingly) wave when we pass as we're on the same street. I most certainly wave back. Go to work, make what you can & get your ass home safely.

That depends on if you're asking Billy or not. He'll tell you he's amazing. The other OD guys on here let him talk. Ain't a discussion over on their board he's not in the middle of. He ridicules everyone equally, up to and including OD.

So he's either a real life iron man super trucker, or else funnier by himself than anything Triplex and wongway say to each other.

OH....So he is THAT OD driver from Richland, Washington?....KK

"On average our drivers undergo 40 hours of training before they hit the road in a UPS vehicle," says Emilio Lopez, global fleet safety manager.

Dude you weren't even born when this guy started at UPS. Typical Safety Man!

Livonia, that's where I went to high school.
I live down south now but grew up between 7 and 8 mile. By Ryan road. Eventually my parents moved out to Warren by 12 mile and Ryan Rd. Then we moved up to Mid Michigan and I lived and married there. I started high school with the farm boys!
City boy in the country. It was a shock.
I had a close aunt and uncle who lived in Westland. Not even familier and couldn't imagine what it's like now. I still live by a large metro are. Not in it though. DFW.
Gotta go where the work takes you.
