As some of you may have heard, Decertification Petitions were recently filed in EPH and CLT...

https://www.nlrb.gov/case/04-RD-200816
https://www.nlrb.gov/case/10-RD-200831

With EPH, word is the local is planning on filing a ULP for "failing to bargain in good faith" (blocking charges)....

With CLT, things went a little differently...

1) local 71 contested our petition claiming we filed prematurely while claiming our one year of negotiations weren't up. We were giving the options by the NLRB to A: withdraw our petition and refile July 28 (which is what the NLRB recommended) or B: move forward and present our argument. After seeking advice from counsel, we decided to move forward and call their bluff!!

2) After calling the union's bluff, and they were bluffing, they folded like cheap lawn chairs!! Now, all of the parties involved have agreed to a fast track election...it's official, we now have a decert election date of Friday, July 7, 2017

How many signed said petitions? Just curious...

Lmao the clown club will fail again. Red better start thinking of excuses when the new failure happens.:1036316054::biglaugh:

They filed light and are hoping to sway voters. I think this is bad strategy on their part. It's really going to blow up in their face when they retain the union. It'll probably go a long way to helping secure a contract.

The only strategy at play was to feed their "moles" with the intel that we had enough support to file so they'd think we filed light and agree to a fast track election...and they took the bait, the hook, the line, and the sinker!!! Now that everyone has signed off, we'll just sit back and reel them in!!
Gotta love it when a plan comes together!! :1036316054:

Perhaps you can get your buddy "The man with 2 first names" a job with you when we vote out the leeches. He can wear his Teamster jacket the rest of the summer over there. Hootie may want to come too. Lmao

At EPH there are plenty of votes to decertify. But the union has filed that ULP stating that FedEx failed to negotiate in good faith, which they filed a month ago and was quickly shot down by nlrb. I don't know why there trying this same tatic when it was shot down before.

It's called a blocking charge...they're trying to delay the inevitable!! EPH will get their election eventually and the union will suffer the same fate as they're going to in CLT...and soon to be in SBR!!

I'm going to enjoy watching you eat crow July 7th. It's not because I'm pro union, but just because you're such a ****ing dick.

I'll make a bet with you over the election. The loser agrees to leave Truckingboards forever. The Union stays, you go. The Union goes, I go. You willing to wager?

You seem really angry for someone without a dog in this fight. Maybe yoga would help you relax.

I guess you're not willing to put your money where your mouth is even after all the bravado you and your buddy have been spewing on this thread.

I'm not pro or non, I'm a fence sitter... but other than union dues, what's the big deal if u have a union at your barn? Is it that fedex refuses to bargain with them? Just askin

Fedex is bargaining. That's just it. Why not let it play out and see what's agreed upon?
They're not paying dues. No one does until a contract is ratified. Not one single FedEx driver has paid dues from any of the four centers, which begs the question of why a few drivers are so hard up to have them voted out? What do they stand to gain? What were they promised for their efforts?
