Batman's Adam West has died, so long old chum.

oh man...i loved that show, ZAP, BAM, ZOWIE......
It had all, good entertainment for all ages and something the family could enjoy together, super hero's versus crooks for the kids, campy, funny, and the occasional cameo by a big name star as they by climbed a window in a building for the adults, and Adam although he had alot of credits in his career he never seemed to get too full of himself and seemed to have fun do whatever he did.

yep, many, many corny tv shows back in the day, but no blood, nor guts either. i actually will watch an episode or two from time to time. of anything, green hornet, green acres, beverly hillbillies, etc,etc......

still make me laugh. some of it from the jokes, some of it from the corn...lol

Green Hornet? Where? How? Gotta somehow BUY the Episodes? I Thot all episodes were locked down as no search reveals any access.

Watched some Petticoat Junction last month. It was FUN seeing people TALKING TO EACH OTHER back in the decades of the real world!!

I didn't read anything at the O.P. link. Adam also starred in Route 66 or My Mother The Car in the 50's. Both were gassers!!

Should have read the article FIRST:
Before he donned the mask and cape, West was a rising star in late 1950s and early 1960s TV series, notably Westerns and cop shows. He logged roles on “Lawman,” “Cheyenne,” “The FBI Story,” “Colt .45,” “77 Sunset Strip,” “Maverick,” “Hawaiian Eye,” “Bonanza,” “The Rifleman,” “Perry Mason,” “Gunsmoke,” “The Real McCoys,” “Bewitched,” “The Outer Limits” and “The Virginian,” among other programs. He was a series regular on the 1959-62 drama series “The Detectives” (which aired on ABC and later NBC), playing a police sergeant.

i cannot say for sure, but i think the actor that played the green hornet has died as well..

yep just looked it up, he died in December of 2016. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0931868/?ref_=tt_ov_st_sm

i also just saw where it was on tv for only one year?

tell you what though, as kids, many of us watch many of these super hero shows, and movies as well.

even mom and dad would watch it, as there was only ONE TV in the entire house.....:17:
