Yellow | YRC Freight to add eight DCs to relieve stress on existing locations

better hire somebody. we lost a 20 plus year mechanic, then a driver, now a dockman, soon some office. new casual dock works dayshift, irritating the 30 plus year dockman, working 1600. took penalty on pension, driver and office taking penalty, more to go. company treats its old employees badly, newer employees take notice. mechanic could have been kept, others fed up with no pension, jjunk to work with

For some reason after the pay cuts and then forcing the PTS down our throats with that fraudulent mou14.They just seem to never get enough and the union administration is the same in giving

I had one a year or so ago that I think is even worse, same thing fella out of our barn more than old enough to retire, plenty of money, still running the road, goes home on the weekend and his wife passes in her sleep. All those travel plans for retirement when he hangs it up down the drain, might as well work himself to death now there is no one at home to share retirement with.

We had a guy with 30yrs, retired at 62. no health problems, died before drawing his first CS check.

Such is life.
I'll be doing the same and if I die.
I won't know.
Or will I?
Booooohhhhhwwaaaaaa.
He could have stayed and died.
No different.
We had a guy.... If you've heard this already stop me..... Who was gonna retire. Had about six months to go.
He was checking his load before leaving for the city. They found him 2-3 hours after the start of his shift dead in his trailer from. A heart attack. Lift truck was running outside his trailer door on the dock. So much for supers or dispatch checking on dock people or drivers. Nobody gives a :shit:e. Probably thought he was goofing off somewhere.
True story.

We had a guy with 20 years where I am. Quit last April... went to Walmart... calls every week telling me how much he enjoys it,along with no stress, pressure, whining, profanity, harassment. And working with management, and drivers who respect one another.
