Too MANY "drivers" NOT PAYING ATTENTION, NOT LOOKING 10-15 seconds DOWN THE ROAD!!
It's the FAULT of BOTH DRIVERS: 1) PARK on a RAMP like the one that genius passed, 2) ANY Driver can MISS improperly PARKED on Highway Vehicles by PAYING ATTENTION, LOOKING FORWARD & SLOWING DOWN!! Nationality means NOTHING in Accidents, Crashes, Wrecks!
Like everything else it'll just sadly GROW WORSE with the new population of incompetence and impatience.

From the NC/SC line to the SC/GA line THERE ARE A IMMENSE AMOUNT OF HILLS AND CURVES, not "several".
Again, a "easy to judge" is of BOTH drivers either of which could have averted such calamity.
