The wording that protects our jobs are underattack. Red circle agreements are going to be gotten around by stopping prior to passing big barns. Is the union in bed with yrc or just too stupid to see what they are doing.. or they just do not care. To compete they are using the utility. But then why is the linehaul stopping at these places. These spots are suppose to be self contained. 1 day service or 2 day. No reason to make them scab drops. The scab drops are stopping before 135. And 123 picking up the freight. No violation of red circle agreement. But it is. Don.t make a rule and then find ways around it... that is why we are paying our dues for job protection.
The other thing is to get rid of the bed jobs. But the beds are in carlisle. But the jobs are moving to Hagerstown. 2 to transfer. Losing 54 jobs atleast. Company said pulling 27 trucks from harrisburg. If 135 looses 14 jobs at 2 persons in a truck a day that is only 7 trucks.company just taking 27.
I am with Dallas this coo is a punishment. The company wants to put drivers out of jobs so they can claim to not have drivers buf they are the ones that layed them off in the first place. MEMPHIS, CHICAGO HEIGHTS, CINCINNATI, Saint Louis, Harrisburg, and more all places yrc have attacked personal by threatING there jobs, and taking runs.
We are being cut just because we have been with the company for a number of years. If e are gone they can force through the next mou. And maybe they can not fake cry at the table about how we have no money and no drivers.

Put the meet and turn at the barns where the beds actual are. Keep the scabs where they are at. No more scab pits created at other yrc facilities. The scabs are running g now from barn to barn that can be made by our drivers.
We want to see the books. And how much do we owe for Holland yet. Yrc has been paid for this is Usf Holland debt.
And give all the sites there utility drivers. We do not want these drivers but if they are going to be there 135 and z fwe other did not get utility drivers. But will have utility doors.

Boy, those scabs are taking over. Those scabs are taking our runs ,those scabs this and those scabs are that and then the really funny part, Don.t make a rule and then find ways around it... that is why we are paying our dues for job protection. Wake the hell up and realize that YRC is a cash cow for Hoffa,Jr and his cronies. When the dues are withheld, from your paycheck, and sent to Hoffa,Jr and the union, it's buying protection alright. Except in this case, YRC buys protection from the rank and file, you guys, by paying off Hoffa, Jr, with a wink and a nod understanding, to look the other way, while YRC screws the rank and file, you guys.

Do you think that the teamsters give a :::shit::: about you or me? Or any of us for that matter?
I'll answer that.
Along with everyone else here.

No.
Trucking built the Teamsters.
And now they want us to fade away.
Best to fight for what you have and your future.
Than fade away.
Alot of us here are on the way out. But ready to fight for what's left. Or. Lose it all.
It's coming to that.
Or not.
I think I hear a distant whimper.

Up too early. And not even a full cup of coffee downed yet.

As. As a reply to above.
Mass withdrawal cards.
No balls to do it en mass

Agree 100% , when we talk about the old day's of guys fighting for our wages ,these YES SHEEP, just say oh things have changed and that's OK for YRCW to keep taking our wages & benefits away !

I asked the afl cio step up and represent us since the Teamsters seem not to care. The point blank said no. I asked them and the national labor relation what can we do. They would not help. Said we voted these people in. Told them the ones that set in and make decisions the majority do not vote in.

I'll fight with a no vote. I have as much to lose as anyone there.

What do you mean on this? I don't understand it. The AFL-CIO is not a labor union, they are an organization of labor unions and you'd need to talk directly to a labor union...something like machinists who represent NEMF. Since our contracts are over three years old you could force an election. You would need to get cards signed and submit to the NLRB for an election. You would need at least 30% of the members to sign cards to force an election. Before you do that you should drop your union membership and become a conscientious objector, that way the teamsters couldn't do anything to you for violating their Constitution.

I was just trying to get the answers. None of the questions answered.one bunch of losers doing a job that if they do nothing still get paid. If they help someone they may have to get of there nut they have painfully been sitting on for years but are too lazy to get off.

ibt wants dues. does not care about members, only revenue. they have suppressed issues to aid company.
changes like this are sometimes punitive
been there and experienced punitive changes
this change undoes some of that punishment, much like a punitive set of bids, sooner or later they got their revenge and then try to get somebody else, and sometimes even try to serve customers
this change will only aggravate existing troubles, unless people transfer, and managers put service over and above conflict and revenge.
failure is now an accepted sop for managers
