ABF | OK, my $2.00 worth on 2019 and beyond

I'm in central states and we don't have to take our spouses insurance. I got married about 4 years ago. There was no restrictions or questions about my wife's company or insurance. Just name social security number and the kids info. Maybe teamcare has changed from previous eligibility requirements.

Maybe I misunderstood your original post on it (well, not just maybe). If our spouse works and has an option to take health insurance they have to, even if it means $150/wk (or any other figure) copays. If there is no health insurance available at their job, no problem, ours will cover them.

They never even asked me, not that it matters, my wife doesn't have insurance anyway.
Teamcare changed a bunch of their policies a couple years ago. They added a lot of stuff. The spouse thing might be one of them. I don't know for sure I don't have my handbook anymore from Central State/team care

My wife has had insurance since I been doing this for 28 years and central states has always taken care of it. Her insurance doesn't cost me anything. What happens with that is, what ever her insurance doesn't pay central states takes care of. I have not had to pay a cent for wife's medical in all that time. Her insurance is primary and central states is secondary.

My wife has insurance available for about 400 a month but if she can get insurance through her spouse she has to take that. They wont even let her in as long as mine is available to her. If I lose my job then we can both be in it.

:confused1::confused1: Did I miss something? I don't get any of this.:idunno:

Oops!,.........I think that message was directed to me as a private message. Bro. Boilerpeddle and I were having a conversation about specific local problems, and I think he pressed the wrong button.

Wow that is especially embarrassing for someone who thinks he is a little more computer literate than the average personal his age.
Thanks a bunch
Any time. I was afraid that had fallen and bumped your head after reading that. I'm glad you're OK.

I did bump my head, but this talking rabbit at Concentra says I'm good to go to work, so...
I know a guy who went for a DOT physical at Concentra while he was on Flexeril for a back injury. He reported that they were going to sideline him as long as he was on it until they found out it was due to an on the job injury, then he was good to go. :idunno:

I will not be talking about any experiences anyone I have ever known has had with ABF regarding injury situations. As a matter of fact, I'm going to say that you are completely wrong, and never has a company taken better care of its employees.

Do I detect a heavy layer of sarcasm here?

No, not at all. Lol

Now my sarcasm meter just pegged into the red zone. Am I right in guessing you had a......disappointing,......encounter with HR in regards to an injury?

Hmm.............I would deeply understand your......disappointment......especially in light of how we are all one big great giant ...."family".....

Or so I've been told.....

Me? NO, NEVER. I would NEVER talk about such an experience out here in public. Lol
