Yellow | Change Approved?

The company can make any changes any time it wants to. The union has no say. The approval means that the union approves that yes the change does not violate the language in the contract that protects the union employees.

They approve that the conditions have been met.

A change of operations is not the union leadership's fault.

Ignorance among Teamster rank and file reigns supreme, and the leadership doesn't seem interested in doing anything about it.

we are short on drivers, quitting or retiring, cant get any hired, have a school scheduled. 1 mechanic, he delivers freight due to driver shortage. there is no shop, work is done outside for linehaul, few mechanics will transfer. we are hiring dock casuals, to go full time after the change. terminal was allowed to degrade since we downsized. repairs are not yet amounting to much. this change will be a chaos if it all goes well.
