So xpo has shut down these zones xpv, xmh and xhh as of today! Anyone on here affected?
Yes sir! That's where we are!Customer service.....gone
Wearing drivers thin.... present
Keeping drivers working..... gone
Replaced by EBITA, results matter, and
" showing the drivers some love."
Just curious,R. But did I read the other day zone drivers with you guys are like just a guy dropping his outbound, and picking up his inbound in a parking lot? No actual terminal? So xpo has shut down these zones xpv, xmh and xhh as of today! Anyone on here affected?
Yes pretty much. A linehaul driver drops trailers in a drop yard and city driver delivers itJust curious,R. But did I read the other day zone drivers with you guys are like just a guy dropping his outbound, and picking up his inbound in a parking lot? No actual terminal?
Rdwy did that too, like 30 years ago. Called them sub stations, doing like you say, linehaul leaving inbound load and taking outbound back. The only thing was most of the time, the freight was not loaded in a guided order for easier delivery, and the driver did a lot of back tracking.Yes pretty much. Three in KY, where were the others? I did not know about them although it doesn't surprise me. The closures in KY did not surprise me either because they have been very slow for some time now. There's only six zones that were removed.
One in AZ, can't remember where the two others were. The info was playing on the communication PowerPoint on the tv at my fac.Three in KY, where were the others? What is this Power Point on the tv you speak of? I have never heard of that. Our tv is always turned offOne in AZ, can't remember where the two others were. The info was playing on the communication PowerPoint on the tv at my fac.
What I can say is XLX will cover about half of the XMH territory and all of XHH. It appears, although I do not know for sure that XHC will cover the other half of XMH and all of
XPK. Gonna be very hard to do for both XLX and XHC. EBTIDA!!
One worker is transferring to XLX and the rest received severance! Such a shame! To my knowledge. If anyone has other info, please input!
You no I was just thinking, while on hold the other day I could swear I heard them talking or advertising how we move your freight damage free and on our safe stack. Gots me thinking they said about 43 percent of our freight was hauled on brokers.any body got any numbers on that? If so that's a lot of freight
What caused them to be slow?
Lack of account executive attention to customers and potential customers?
Poor service from zone DSRs?
Competition from other carriers? / XPO pricing?
A combination of all these?....
My bad, thanks, that should be XPV! Pikeville, KY.Wait, what does XPK have to do with anything ?
You will have to ask your TM, who's clearly not interested in communication. It's a corporate PowerPoint, messages from sales, linehaul, and several others. Also information that's specific to the terminal and region. What is this Power Point on the tv you speak of? I have never heard of that. Our tv is always turned off
Or spend $100 to screw us out of $10.Con-way would walk past a $100 bill to pick up a dime. XPO RESULTS MATTER
