I wasn't in a hurry to retire when PIE closed the doors 27 yrs ago, but I did, the getting old, came right along with retirement.
A friend of mine retired 2 yrs later in 92 with Big R.
We were sitting in a bar drinking a 6 pac or 12, he said "see those 2 old turkeys sitting over there?, that will be us in 10 yrs"
I said , "no dummy, not 10 yrs, you're looking in a mirror"
