Anyone have any Intel if OD has any trucks with Automatics or plans too in the future? I saw some info from Freightliner they are promoting some really good gas mileage with the Automatics...

Even Billy's riding mower has twin sticks...Not at this joint unless it's a straight truck or some of those little freightliners. We need autos since all we hire are noobs that don't know how to shift.
I hear Billy don't need a transmission. Briggs and Stratton 7.5 has one speed. Not at this joint unless it's a straight truck or some of those little freightliners. We need autos since all we hire are noobs that don't know how to shift.
Used to be two horns!!Even Billy's riding mower has twin sticks...
You will not see any auto's anytime soon.OD unable to get the fuel mileage with them.Hard to beat what we get out of the new Freightliner now. Also maintenance expense is higher on them to.We tested 4 Volvo Auto's several years ago and haven't heard anymore about that experience.Only Auto's I'm aware of is the Freightliner City Tractor's and Straight Truck'sAnyone have any Intel if OD has any trucks with Automatics or plans too in the future? Ain't ever driven a triplex, but this boy here driven many two stick trucks when I was a young pup then moving onto them roadrangers. Many of you new breeds can barely drive a 10 spd let alone float the gears and softly as I do,, Safe to say I'm last of the old school,, even all the old school teamsters are now gone. Just Werner and Swift rejects working at YRC and UPSF.
Had to.. It was the humane thing to do. Besides, no one wants a cross-eyed goat that smells like jerk chicken.4 horns before you ate one!
No Jr, all us old teamsters are not gone, just sitting back feeling sorry for you kids who have never had a real trucking jpb
unfortunately, THEY are all gone now,all you can do is hang in there and do the best you can.
BTW, a triplex is also 2 sticks, just 3 spds in the aux box.
Over Dose called me today, wanted me to come out of retirement.
I told them I was Too old and too lazy to work anywhere.
Unbelievable. Billy who drives your truck? Let's see, maybe when you're off. Make it a untouchable. After all these young bucks need to show respect. You've got to have the seniority. You need to bring your bull whip and whip these people into shape. And line haul, yes we need the stern discipline of the city driver's.What damn part of the world they calling those triplex? We always called em 2 stick or twin stick. Only you and me could drive them, no OD driver can. They prove it by blowing the clutch whenever they drive my truck.

The first truck I learned to drive was Mack two stick with 5 speed next to your leg, the second stick was Low, Direct, and Rev.
What was this called?
This was also called a duplex, you have 10 spd with the split, a triplex has 15spd.
