Holland | Dress code

Griz all joking aside who wants to see a fat guy with a sleeveless shirt on showing his fat rolls. People need to have a little pride in themselves at least. And not walking around and looking like pigpen
I would find it hard to exhibit any pride if I worked there. ::shit::, I can hardly muster any up where I'm at.

Point here is that a good company wants a Professorial appearance to the public , not like ours which is wear the most dirty & torn up clothes you have , but wait that does kinda match the dirty docks and trucks & trailers we have too !!

If you do wear nice clothes to work they are ruined by the end of the shift. It is of no help that the tractors have not been washed at my terminal in at least 10 years. To make things worse management removed the water spigot and hose so we cannot wash a window nor anything else. Maybe old coveralls would be better work attire.

drop an out of service trailer in a door ,run an extension cord in it for very dim light bulb, hang a clothes line up with a sheet over it and WALA!! there your new locker room
That just may be a solution for them.. you forgot about heat in the winter, but I guess a space heater would work in a pinch. Hopefully the next trailer over is not full of flammables.

One problem though with the out of service trailer.. that’s where all the trapped freight is hiding.

at a few terminals they could use the t/m's office since they don't have one; or back a trap trailer in take some product off and put it well off to the side since a changing area is more important and don't forget the dim light bulb cant have anyone get hurt

Can’t afford decent pallet jacks and you expect them to pop for a 20w bulb... lol

TM’s office would be a good choice since most are worthless anyway and have to suck W**ls*y’s behind for every little issue.. by the way that guy is one of the main problems with the central region! Before him the bald wonder was!
