ICX going Teamsters

What is ICX?

Take an old new century tractor and slap some new decals on it and there you have it,
ICX!!!

Ex New century drivers that followed Harry to a company that he was consulting for. They expanded to NJ and rented the old Delanco Yard( original Jevic) that Harry Still owns. ICX is a division of Gully Trans, Quincy ail.
illinois,NOT Alabama..

How can I support you from local 401 Wilkes Barre?
It was an adventure during my New Century days. The whole crop in there now is the worst including Gully.
Glad to be a steward at YRC.

we are at it again vote teamsters at ICX
Once again this company will join the long list of organizing success the teamsters have enjoyed since deregulation.
or perhaps these drivers want the security, poor retirement programs, low pay, rolling garbage & misery that the NMFA is providing it members......
when will these people ever learn....

Simple, quit and go join a wonderful union company that is a great, secure, safe, joyous place to work at with great equipment and a fabulous Teamster pension plan. Perhaps YRC or one of their hugely successful unionized regional carriers with fit you needs......

according to you union buffs, life is perfect there...... Plus I hear they are hiring, the starting pay, equipment & teamster pension must be fantastic! After all it is a union job!

The union destroyed all the unionized LTL's just let the others be.....

The union grew because they beat and intimidated people until the joined. Since they cannot compete in a level playing field they lose 100% of the times.
There was a time when the LTL industry was 100% union, customers voted to move away from union carriers. Today unions are the least safe, worst paying and operate the worst equipment.
Not to mention job security and retirement issues.
It is over, we most likely will never see a major carrier organized again in our lifetimes. Unless that carrier has a death wish....

You watch to many movies.scabs killed this industry.not the unions.you wouldn't have what you have without unions.think about it.

And furthermore,if the pension reform act goes thru, which is in in the senate as we speak, your tax dollars will fund my pension.thanks

Do you mean the low paying scabs with the lowest wages of any major LTL carrier in the industry.
The ones with the rolling garbage and unsafe crap on our roads.
The ones with the most miserable workforce..
Those union jobs??????
The teamsters sat and did nothing as they became irrelevant.... They still use work rules from 50 years ago.
This industry evolved good or bad because of the Democrats and the teamsters had no idea on how to compete or bring fresh ideas to a changing industry. Now they pay the price...

Enjoy....

You have a better change of seeing a major LTL carrier organized and into the NMFA. 1 Senator from OH is a union lacky and looking to grandstand. America has enough on welfare, your pensions was paid for. Your union mismanaged it. Go to them for the $$$$$
You keep listening to the union goons, they also told you that your pension was going to be just great after your 30 years of hard work.
How did that work out for you????.
