Sound what walmart is telling it's drivers!!!! Look what happened at Fedex freight.

Yes FedEx freight. I was told the camera is always on so it sounds like they are just sitting back watching footage.
Company said it's only on when a event triggers the camera. Damn liars!!

I'm confused your comment makes no sense????
I've had the camera in my truck since February it has only came on once and was no big deal... so according to your comment they are sitting in a office somewhere watching us.... no way impossible to sit and watch thousands of drivers... Plus data charges and paying someone to sit and stare at you....also we'd all be fired cause surely we all do something during our day that could get u fired...

That device uploads to servers and management can access all of that with sound when they decide to.
2 things to remember the paper I signed and have copy of states no recording are uploaded without a triggered event. So let's say they pull me in on a video without an event that would open them up to legal issues and a payday for me. Second where would they store all these videos? Say a million trucks are recording a day do you realize how much data that would be? Impossible!!!!

Might not always call you in for everything their watching. Might be good water cooler talk, office meetings/training and the such that you have no idea about.

I guess in the cloud. They only keep certain flagged trucks their watching and discard the rest. Its only good as the people that built it.

My question is what next?

Bottom line here is,don't be picking your nose in heavy traffic where you are most likely to have,an "event".

Didn't Bill Gates say 512 megs was all u would ever need and now we have terabytes? Article 26.3 seems to give the company types the right to hide under the "safety umbrella" and they can store as much data as they can afford....as long as it doesn't cut into their bonus.
