We won't have to give back because Mr Jacobs is going to make this the most profitable company there is .. we the drivers just want to assure we get are share. Your perfectly entitled to sit around and wait on the man who says he's going to replace you within 10yrs to take care of you .

What will the union do to stop this? Have they shown you the plan?
 
XPO Logistics is a multinational corporation that only answers to shareholders and investors ( and sometimes it doesn't even answer to them ) it has no morals or beliefs or responsibility to communities or people. Being multinational even limits it's accountability to governments were it operates.

Being logical about things , in terms of scale , you may have a better chance with a smaller "greedy corporation" than a larger one.
Would I be better off with one large multinational company and one large national company both being greedy?

You are correct that I won't answer the questions when people that won't first answer mine. Once again, I'm being held to a different standard than others. I'm sensing a theme.

You asked a question with the answer already there.

There are a lot of posts to this debate here and elsewhere. If you go back and read , most people don't think the union is perfect or the answer to workplace problems - yet it is one of the few places to turn in a world where the deck is stacked against the little person.

I'm not pro or anti-union , but increasingly there are less and less options to address issues in the workplace.

What should a fair minded person do that's not a job hopper?
 
Jacobs has already proved which direction he wants to go with new employees by giving them less than legacy employees.
That can also be said for the union contracts too. I have worked and read union contracts with the same type of tier system in them. The only difference is the union member voted to screw new employees

The membership had the choice through a vote to approve or disapprove concessions . The union leadership does not make those decisions. If Mr.Jacobs decides tomorrow take 2 dollars an hour from you what say do you have ? If he decides to give you .70 cent per hour raise in the spring and raise your health insurance premium the following fall what have you gained ? and what can you do about it ?
Sit a wait it out if you like that is your choice.

Since you brought up my personal life, I'd love to see the list of accomplishments that have you done that enrich people's lives.

They make it personal and attack the messenger since they can't attack the message. It's not the first time I've seen it and it won't be the last.

Because when i asked you before. You answerd.No i haven't done anything. Go back and read your post. What has changed in the past 6 month's that has changed for the better? That you've done?
All i read here is how this company is going to ::shit::. So thing haven't gotten better.

It's so convenient how they can play both sides of the game. When they're recruiting, you need the strength of the membership and leadership to get you a contract so you don't lose anything. But then, when the company wants concessions, well, it's your fellow members selling you out. Amazing how the union is never a problem.

He's not going to do that. It must be rough to honestly believe that's possible and still go to work every day.

A .70 cent discount on my insurance premium. Math is fun.
 
This right here. I started. From this the company changed alot of policies.
It changed thing's all across the regions.
That's what I've done. By the way XPO still kept the changes in policy.
