Which trucking regulations or actions do you think should be considered for modification or suspensi

Sorry, I apologize, didn't realize you drove for Saia and couldn't use one.
Actually, I drove a truck a few weeks back that the regular driver leaves a Cb in it. I turned it on channel 19, and went probably 20 miles, and never heard any talking. Guess if it doesn't have a key pad, it's not worth using???

No. It's the transmission in the Hotel....Constantly Breaking. Fess up, BRG, Wong uses the clutch pedal as a foot rest, right? Is it you who grinds more gears than a butcher grinds meat???
Hey Dave didn't you hear they now make rubber gears for the transmission's now no nasty grinding noise just the smell of burnt rubber

If you happen to know any motor carrier inspectors with the state police in your home area, ask them what is the most violated regulation they see when they stop a truck... I will bet it is behind logs, not current to last change of duty,or unfinished pages from previous several days, thus also putting the driver out of service....

You might want to see what the 30 minutes break after on duty / driving violation is compared to according to the dot

From what I read it's worse then getting a DUI and as a matter of fact I posted the article on this website a few months ago.

So put that in your pipe and smoke it...

Our hotel has a autonomous clutch....

Are you serious? I haven't touched or heard a cb since I retired 27 yrs ago, now you tell me they are a thing of the past.
Are you just pullin my leg? tell me it ain't so!

Wasn't quite sure what it was at first, until I turned it on and heard all the static on 19. Then it all came back to me....turn the squelch back....

Thanks for the info, you just helped me make a big decision, I ain't coming out of retirement with no CB!
BTW, I looked up that word "autonomous" in my Funk and Wagnall, they referred me to BRG Patel Consultants LLC
"over"

Be nice to Wong. No name calling.
Besides, I think Deena is kinda sweet on him...

HERE then is a Glaringly CLEAR EXAMPLE of OVER REGULATION in TRUCKING.

I was ONCE ticketed by a Arizona Scale House "Officer" (just into AZ. from N.M. on I-10) for having the G.P.S. below (just above the bottom next to the split window rubber/gasket in a Freight Shaker) the restricted allowance from the top. I told that "officer" the rule was pointless and dangerous and that with the charging cord attached and the unit mounted within the "restriction", there would be a distraction from the cord. That was in '14 or '15. No problem to or since that one time. It'll be observed Nationwide so be prepared.
Just another way to HARRASS TRUCKERS while 4 wheelers and motor homes get a pass!!

What’s worse for driver safety: skipping your lunch break, or being drunk behind the wheel? It seems like a no-brainer, but according to the Complete Stupidity Alliance, you’re more of a menace to society if you didn’t take a break than if you’re so drunk you can’t see straight.
. . . .
This of course means that the Complete Stupidity Alliance thinks that a driver who misses their 30 minute break is more than twice the safety risk as a driver who has an open bottle of whisky sitting next to him/her/it
.

Oh, don't forget about the "correct placement" of your G.P.S. unit or suffer your "Safety Award" from the Complete Stupidity Alliance.

Don't Drink, Don't Think, Don't Rest yet DO YOUR BEST!!
