XPO | Our final 10 yrs

Market Watch puts that claim out but lists no names in support. I call bull crap on this article.

It also says that it would cap pre-tax contributions, not total contributions. I'm against it either way but the politicization of every little thing to try to move the football an inch one way or the other when nothihg gets done, nobody's mind gets changed, and those in power are the only ones who benefit. It's getting old.

I am hearing that congress,The republican one is that is that they want to limit 401 contributions .According to the Trump tax plan. Before you knock what you don't have or you don't know. Please do your research. If you live in a glass house don't throw stones. :shakehandsnah::chairshot:

I did, you misconstrued the article to fit your particular political agenda. What was that you said about glass houses?

Makes sense that NO names would be attached as the article rightly states "Such a move would likely generate significant political blowback"

Ya, that’s why I’m calling it a fake article. Why would market watch care if they hammer the senators or not. I want them voted out. If they wanted the names democratic senators would be yelling from the rooftops correct?

Now that we only have 10 yrs left before we're replaced by automated trucks as per Brad Jacobs I have been wondering what everyone's plans are fora new career?
Bradley might not be talking much more about driverless trucks much longer, as it appears the Senate has some concerns over vehicles weighing over 10,000lbs gross. There is a link to the Senate bill in the article and if you want to see the actually wording it's on page 4, line 7.https://www.bna.com/senate-selfdriving-vehicle-n73014470312/

It has the ring of truth because the NUMBER ONE source of money for the government is the people.

As the popularity of 401k plans has grown , the money sitting in them has grown as well. Trillions of dollars. ( as of 2011 - $3.16 Trillion per Quora.com )

It wouldn't be surprising or unexpected for the government to go after the money - it's what they do.
For example , it's happened in Ireland before. Instead of making cuts and saving money the government figures out ways to "raise more revenue"

Any space to sub contract a popcorn and cotton candy machine 's I have both could help make some extra money

The little lady is already complaining about the weight and size of the cart. She travels a good six plus miles everyday. So that may be a "no go". Plus I already tried expanding the store front, the shaved ice and nachos were successful, the boiled bologna idea was a wash.

That a boy ! Now your on to something. You only have 9yrs 11 months now.

Well, the cart has already paid for itself twice over. I'm hinging on the platypus mill as my "go to" option. I can only operate the cart under fair weather. So I have been closely working with my congressman to get the importation of platypodes legal. This is the main obstacle I must over come. Once I have succeeded, the big bucks will start rolling in.

That’s so true! I just like to have sources for Big statements like they threw out there. You have a great point there though.

Its a shame you can't get on Mad Money and try to sell that platypus idea to some investors. Maybe you can tell them the operation will be fully automated.

A lot of which way things go in the future depends on how contract negotiations go with YRC and ABF.

A decision to hold on to LTL unit will be based on union company contract negotiations , state of the economy , and politics ( if we still have Republican majority , and current President , and if United States is involved in new war )

I stress to everyone contact your politician and find out where they stand on this. Tax cuts for the wealthy have to be made up somewhere and it shouldn't be off are backs.

Another example of how the Republicans have nothing good in store for the working class. All you 401 k fans should be outraged.

Look at the shiny object while we rob you of any possibility of retiring. When is the working class going to have enough of it.
Disgusting.

So let me get this right Xpo reduced the 401k match for new employees and now a republican congress wants to cap your contribution limit. That ought to work real good for everyone.Thats real exciting.
Wake up people
