It amazes me that men complain about the well that the drink from, but will not leave the heard to find better water.

Far to many would rather be part of the problem instead of the solution.

Ponder on that one and see where you fit.

Omnitrax is used by many carriers and has been around awhile. I do believe it has something to do with the interface with the handhelds and the two programs not meshing properly. I have said it many times the multi step process for simple operations with the ELD’s are the problem. To many steps and to many opertunitys for the interface to not communicate with one another.

It’s in the coding for sure.

the company is in for a shock if they think this crap is going to be up and working in a few weeks. I have not been able to log on this device yet and after a week and a half cannot find any one to help. Hours available is the problem. Even the terminal manager shrugged his shoulders. The woman who held class on this was only interested in getting through her presentation and getting to her hotel, typical for holland training. here it is, just do it. You tube was no help because all of the video I can find is on modern electronics not this junk. any one else having this much trouble?

On a advantage day you waste 1/2 to hour rebooting them & waiting for them to download & trying to log out at night ! It's seems to just be a really OLD outdated system ?

Maybe this will help

Start day

Clock in time clock
Log in omnitrax on computer
Log in on handheld p/d
Log in on handheld Omni
Enter tractor
Enter trailer(only after it has work assigned to it)
Connect hand held to truck, must be in cab
Make sure tractor and trailer number appear under your name in Omni
Pedal freight

End of day

Open Omni change from driving to on duty wait for status to change you will hear beep and top of screen will say change duty status
Then arrive yourself
Exit in p/d or new trip
**Log out ( not off duty) Omni. ****
Log out p/d
Log off duty on computer (if you work dock do this at end of shift)
Clock out

****If you do not Log Out of device this screws things up

Feel free to ask questions

Swipe on - swipe off welcome to 2017... this system and the many, many steps are the problem.

Slowly getting use to it! Wondering if anyone has heard anything about when the will have system switched to noon till noon instead of midnight. Anyone else had the problem where after midnight if you start a new trip it bumps the last digit of the manifest number to the next day and screws everything up. When that happens you have to click next to the last number of the manifest and erase it and put yesterdays date in its place. Also be careful when taking your 30 minute break not to do anything with it that requires you to switch to on duty in Omnitrax it will start your clock over. I think in three week I might have a good enough grip on these things to be able to make them work? I hope so!

Have to reboot them at one or two times a day and then they lock up at least once a day , so pretty much waste 30- 45 mins a day messing with them !

Well, there is your 15 percent back partner!!!
If you reboot, and fumble with it everyday that long for the next 12.4 years, you will be money ahead..
